Summary:
Blues legends Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' stopped by the Paste studio on Aug. 14 to promote their latest collaboration record, the cleverly titled, TajMo. The duo started off with Taj Mahal's well known tune, Diving Duck Blues, which is featured on their new album. Taj Mahal then played the ukulele to a Keb'Mo' track, "Life is Beautiful," and the pair finished with fan favorite, "Corinna." Information on the blues pair's tour dates can be found here.

@tonyb1063 One of my friends from the old neighborhood went to see Taj at the House of Blues in Orlando a few years back. Paul paid extra for the Meet and Greet. When he got to meet Taj, Paul explained that he was one of her Kindergarteners (we were in class together). Taj stood up and gave him a hug. He told Paul how much his mom talked about her kids and the old neighborhood. She taught K and 1st for over 30 years. I'm 67 today, and actually still have friends from Nursery school.

Taj is awesome After the show he played in Texarkana he stopped by the local blues joint and jammed with the locals. Oh yeah I was there. And years later in Boulder I am buying a ticket for a different show at the Fox and I was walking away from the window putting it in my wallet when I realized wrong ticket! It was for Taj Mahal instead of hootie and the blowfish. But hell no I didn't exchange it. I just went back and bought the other ticket. I guess it just meant to be cause I got to meet Darius later when I went to their show
