I still love Emo music 20 years later! It came out at a time when I was in my late teens-early 20’s so the songs just resonated with me & still do today!

I always appreciated how much heart he put into his live stuff. And seeing him play outside those open tuning is amazing
@dajakamo7 жыл бұрын
Holy shit, he sounds just fine for a guy screaming lyrics (as they're written), and for how old he is now. Chris is a treasure, I've seen him live by himself in Denver, no band, nothing but a guitar, and at Red Rocks with a full band, and he always puts on an amazing show. This is my favorite song other than Stolen, at full speed, not the slowed down version.

Yeah there's some change in his voice in this video, but he could've done that purposefully. Doesn't matter, he's still Chris Carrabba, will always be successful, and will give it his all every time.

He's playing in drop Db, while the original is in open Db tuning. Also, he mainly uses a thumb pick these days which isn't very well-suited for these early Dashboard songs.

his style of singing is what does that, he does not do drugs or cigarettes.
@SWOL7 жыл бұрын
greatestfall what's crazy is that I just saw him 4 days ago in concert. I got the VIP package and he did a little 5 song performance backstage for VIP and he sounded perfect then and later on at the actual concert. Like spot on. No clue what's going on here. There's a couple of these videos where his voice sounds fucked up. It's so confusing cuz I don't know why. Unless maybe he had some sorta therapy since for his vocals since this video.
