What did you do before the advent of cellular phones to shepherd the flock, Pasteur Armel? Is the cell phone a necessary tool or one recommended by God to watch over the sheep under your care? Will unforgiveness in a congregant's heart be very legible and detectable on any of their cell phones? Whatever happened to: preach the WORD as the Lord's direct and let the Holy Spirit complete the job? It's all well and good to preach sanctification, but it is a biblical fact that we're going to have the wheat and the tares in the congregation as well as on the pulpit, regardless of the number of cell phones you may be able to monitor. I believe the time, energy and resources it takes to control all of those cell phones would be better spent in soul-repairing, heart-healing and soul-reaching activities.

Le téléphone portable est-il un outil necessaire ou recommandé par Dieu pour veiller sur les brebis dont vous avez la garde? Le manque de pardon dans le coeur d'un fidèle sera-t-il très lisible et detectable sur n'importe lequel de ces téléphones portables? Qu'est-il arrivé à: prêcher la parole directement du Seigneur et laisser le St-Esprit terminer le travail? C'est bien de prêcher la sanctification, mais c'est un fait biblique que nous allons toujours avoir le blé et l'ivraie dans la congregation ainsi que sur la chaire, quelque soit le nombre de téléphones portables que vous pourrez surveiller.. Je crois que le temps, l'énergie et les resources necessaires pour contrôler tous ces téléphones portables seraient mieux dépensés dans des activités de réparation de l'âme et de guérison du coeur.

Ema, you are missing the whole message entirely. Sanctification has to be in everything you do. From the things you watch, put on, say, think, act and etc. People are so used to doing their own thing that they fail to acknowledge what is right, what pleases God. As a Shepard he/she has all the right to check on you and in every aspect of your life: spiritually, academically, financially, socially and so on. The cellphone falls under that. Ex: if you had a child that has a cellphone, wouldn’t you check their phone periodically? Likewise for the Shepard, he has every right to check your phone to make sure you are in the right path. Do you know how many are watching unclean stuff on their phones. Does that please God? Do you how many people are talking inappropriately with others on their phone? Does that please God? Why leave all these sinful acts in the dark, when if not revealed may lead you to the wrong path? The Shepard’s job is to guide you, just like our great examples in the Bible. You guys are so fixated on privacy this privacy that, that you don’t even see that it is destroying you of not handled through right way.
