Pastor Bernard was my Pastor when I lived in Brooklyn over 30 years ago! He is such a profound Man of the Word. I loved him then, and love him still. Thank you for taking a stand for truth and being led by God. An Awesome Man on God!

Funny he was my pastor too...and I have nothing but disdain for him now. He was a chauvinistic pig then and now he's a demagogue who uses the bible and his influence to control the sheeples. Don't believe the hype. He is no different that the pimp preachers we see on TV and at most churches. He has had decades to polish up his act. I've seen him use and and abuse musicians, NYPD cops and other ministers serving in his ministry. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Don't be bamboozled. He talks a good game, but that's about it. He does not respect women. Is a tyrannical. Refuses to allow those around him to have their own opinions. I was a member of his church for years, and kick myself daily for allowing myself to be bamboozled by another Pimp Preacher.

ThisSongILove I hope that you can find a healing or an understanding of what was witnessed by you, about him, towards you personally or towards others. I'm SO sorry that you were hurt. I wish that you could talk to him or write him a letter and it be responded to so that you could find some sense of closure. I am not saying that you are WRONG. You may be absolutely correct in your assessment of Pastor Bernard. But you've stated this twice so far and I haven't finished reading all of the comments. It signals to me that you have not resolved this pain, and it still resonates with you. I personally thank you for your comments and your personal insight on this man's possible mistakes as he pursues perfection. God will not be mocked so God's vengeance will set things straight if needbe. I ask that you forgive him so that you can move on and chalk up the time that you spent in his church as a learning experience and not a reason to hurt yourself emotionally or physically, no matter if he or someone from his office contacts you. I will be praying for you and with you in any good thing that is in God's will that you desire. God bless you and keep you Sis.

@@shamusibalogun364Thank you. But I only acknowledged her as a human being. I just wanted her to know that she's been heard. If God can place a mark on Cain for his protection, after he killed his brother, then I can at the very least acknowledge that her opinion is a warranted one regardless if it is the truth or not. I don't know either way. She could be ABSOLUTELY CORRECT or wrong. I am not a judge, just a court reporter acknowledging that she was here.

Yeah, but it's kind of dangerous to just leave that statement open-ended like that. I say instead of forgiving we start ignoring. Unless we are fxcked with directly we should ignore what everyone else is doing and do the best for ourselves. I think we'd be better off if we took pages from the best aspects of the Hasidic Jews and the Amish/Mennonite communities.

His statement about saying pastors or clergymen going to speak to leadership or Trump must operate in the prophetic is true . They must go and speak the word of God, give warning of potential judgement if the leader does not repent and call his country/ people to repent and turn to God.
@ThisSongILove
@ThisSongILove 6 жыл бұрын
Did he operate in the prophetic before he "quietly stepped away from the 'evangelical council"? NO HE DIDN'T....and one reason why is because he has said out of his own mouth that he doesn't believe God just speaks to anyone, like that. He said this in the early 2000's when I attended his church. Surely he is not expecting God to tell him ANYTHING prophetic to say to trump or anyone else. AR Bernard is NOT going to rock the boat, he's 'going to go along to get along for as long as it profits him. He's a Master Manipulator Who Manipulates WELL!!!!

I was a member of a church for 9 years and then my pastor became a member of 45's evangelical advisory board. I gave him a chance until right before the election he preached a sermon and said all Christians must vote for 45. This pastor has over 10 thousand members and wanted us to fast for 45 to win the presidency. That was the turning point and I left that church with great disappointment and disgust that any pastor would support that person. He says and does the unthinkable with no remorse.

I understand how you felt 100%. I sat up under AR Bernard for nearly a decade and to say I'm surprised that he would be a part of that "evangelical" advisory council would be a lie. AR Bernard has ALWAYS done whatever would puff him up and give him some more imaginary "influence" in NYC. I remember when Bush Sr ran, at that time the church I attended they literally told all of us FROM THE PULPIT to vote for Bush. And basically said if we didn't we were going against the will of God. That was the 1st and last time I voted for a republican president. I vow to NEVER be bamboozled and hoodwinked by another pastor ever again. The blood of many will be on AR Bernard's hands

8 years ago with lord there no way I could have forgave anyone that wrong me. I hate my enemies or anyone else that had caused pain on me. If the lord told me help anyone to wrong me i would have laugh. Well 8 years later a person who i did not care to help Now I pray for this individual who going through bad illness. Instead of being like my enemies or anyone else that wrong me who laugh at my pain and my short comings. I decide to help this individual who went from enemy to a relative. I want this individual to live. Lord had change my heart in order for me to forgive and help my enemy because if the lord was not in me. I would never help my enemy at all. I know everybody is not ready to forgive others who caused pain upon you but it is when your time to forgive you will. All of us forgive at different ages in life. Lord had soft my heart because the pain I had was so deep. It was hard enough running into certain people that hurt me. I am move slow in forgiveness I am not there all the way. It is working progress sometimes you might be fall down of unforgiveness that okay. It takes Time.
