Pastor Smith humbleness is still in my mind. I have a hard time where people put up man. I thank God for his teaching us about Jesus. I flew to Philadelphia to remember him teaching us how to live the life that God required. I had never heard any one teach the Word like he did in 1964. We were taught from the Bible so it was like 2 in 1. Teaching and Preaching every Sunday. After his death God chose who HE want. I'm thankful for Pastor Spaulding carrying on with the Word of God. We knew he was who God had chosen. If it's anyone left that can tell the story about what happened, I wish they could tell it.

My family still goes to Deliverance in Philadelphia today! Still know so many pastors & friends there. Pastor Smith has a pastoral lineage in Philadelphia and in the southeast that shows that he walked closely with the Lord!

I grew up here on Broad st and Lehigh. My mom is a very active member and is on the Mother's board. I miss Pastor Smith!
