Let's get back to the subject.He was preaching about the hot, Cold and Luke warm church in Revelation 3:14-16 he thinks because it was said in 15, I would thou wert cold or hot: 16 and neither cold nor hot. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH, Obedience to God's command. God told Noah to build an ark to be saved. Ecclesiastes 9:17 The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools. This is just saying that a quiet man who speaks the truth through wisdom from God will be heard. A fool shouting will not be received. You would shut off your hearing from the fool. He has nothing of profit to say. Even if the fool is a king, those who hear him, will not receive his message. It is unfortunate that so many people mistake eloquence for wisdom or talking loud for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I can't understand the world following after somebody who is eloquent. Christians and masses following after people who scream and yell and maybe are eloquent and they mistake that for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You know a good screamer a good Yeller can make some people an emotional Buzz for a few minutes but the calm teaching of God's word is spiritual meat and potatoes that will help them become stronger and healthier spiritually long-term.
