God has no flesh no bones no material form so we can safely conclude that Christ could not be God because Jesus Christ is a man in nature not a spirit as the true God is Well what about those who teach outside the Bible teach that God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ what does God himself have to say about this thinking or assumption Hosea 11:9 God gives us the answer himself and he says this I will not execute the fierceness of my anger I again will not destroy Ephraim for I am God and not man the Holy One in your Mets and will not come with terror So God States in his own words I am God and not man do we need to elaborate or speculate on what God has said no need God said I am God and not man God said I am God and not man enough said let's go to the Bible to see how they introduces the Lord Jesus Christ that we will start the prophets when the prophet prophesied about the Lord Jesus Christ namely the prophet Isaiah when the prophet Isaiah wrote about the coming of Jesus Christ how did he describe him as far as his nature is concerned Isaiah 53 versus 3 And it says he is despised and rejected by man a man of sorrow acquainted with grief and we had as it were our faces from him he was despised and we did not esteem him according to the prophet Isaiah he was called a man of Sorrows not a God ignore a man God or God man or possessing a dual nature but simply a man let's move on to his birth When the mother Mary gave birth to the Lord Jesus Christ what was his nature Matthew 1:18 and 20 as it is described here now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows after his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit but while he thought about these things be holding Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream Saint Joseph son of David do not be afraid to take to you marry your wife for that which is conceive is in there he's out the Holy Spirit Now when Jesus was conceived in the womb through the power of the Holy Spirit what was conceived was a child a human being not god or if you believe that Christ is God then you would have to accept that the one Mary carried in her womb for so many months was God no one in their right mind would believe that now let's go to the best source to find out who Jesus Christ was and really his true nature the best source would be none other than Jesus Christ himself what did our Lord Jesus Christ concerning his true nature John chapter 8 in the verse is 40 this is Jesus Christ speaking but now you seek to kill me a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God Abraham did not do this Christ here whit the perfect opportunity to tell us who he is Christ introduced himself as a man I was Jesus Christ lying or telling a half truth or holding back part of the truth from people absolutely not Jesus Never Lie never committed even a single sin when he thought that he is a man that's the truth in fact he testifies that the things he spoke Our Truth and we know them to be in the verse we read he even distinguishes himself from the true God by telling us that he heard the truth from god so he is not God who heard the truth from himself that would be silly did his Apostles learn and understand the truth that Jesus Christ taught about his true nature find out how Apostle Peter describe the Lord Jesus Christ we're going to go this time to Acts of the Apostles In Chapter 2 and the verse is 22 men of Israel hear these words Jesus of Nazareth a man attested by God to you I'm Miracle wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst as you yourself also no Apostle Peter tells us that Jesus Christ was a man up tested by God well maybe you're not convinced let's go to Apostle Paul I was called to be an apostle after Jesus Christ was already in heaven now when he wrote about Christ how did he write about his nature now in 1st Timothy 2:5 the Apostle Paul says that there is only one God and one mediator mediator between God and Men the man Christ Jesus Apostle Paul teaches hear that Jesus Christ is amen he also tells us the position of Jesus Christ that he is the one mediator between the one God and man Not that Christ was the mediator between himself and himself which would make no sense make no sense so far we're learning from the apostles the teaching of the Apostles. They understood the true nature of Jesus Christ Christ taught himself to be a man the apostles also thought the same thing How about when the end of the world comes and Christ Returns what will be his nature then will it be different let's read with the Bible say Acts chapter 17 verse 31 the verse is 31 because he has appointed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man who he has ordained is given Assurance to All by raising him from the dead teaches that God will judge the World by the man who he has ordained and that man is certainly Jesus the Lord Jesus Christ so you don't have to have a doctor degree to understand what we're studying it's very easy to understand that at no time in the Bible say that Jesus Christ is God And if anybody's still unsure of who the true God is let's Let Jesus Christ explain for himself so they'll be no misunderstandings this is what the Lord Jesus Christ says John 17:3 and this is a terrible life that they may know you the only true God and Jesus Christ whom yous have sent Jesus spoke these words look upon heaven and said father the hour has come glorify your son that your son Also may glorify you now you know these verses if we are to study as to who the true God is these two verses all that we would need because Chris is very definitive in his statement and he said first of all this is eternal life what means eternal life Christ said they may know or people may know you unless it is periodically looking into a mirror he wasn't talkin about himself
