There are some falsehoods here. First of all Pastor Taiwo and Bimbo were the Co-Senior Pastors of the church. Most would argue that Pastor Taiwo was the lead Senior Pastor. Hence, it was a big deal that Pastor Bimbo was put on television first. Pastor Taiwo said that God instructed it to be that way. I used to be skeptical of Pastor Jimmy, however, the Lord Jesus Christ chose a tax collector, a zealot, and even a prostitute to be in his inner circle. As much as I loved and respected Pastor Taiwo, I would have to admit that there are some worldly individuals that Pastor Jimmy may be better suited to win over for the Kingdom of God. At the end of the day we are all sinners, no one is perfect, and God is the only one who knows who is actually serving Him.

Pastor Taiwo actually started the church, on the issue of pastor Jimmy I do agree with you, pastoring is serious business, it makes you a shepherd over souls, God does not joke with souls, if he wants to lead that church in spirit and in truth, he needs to work on himself seriously, play time and playboy time is over.

Error on what you said that the woman was preaching, leading, was the pastor of the church and her husband took over after her death. Pastor Taiwo was the Lead Pastor while his late first wife was teaching and pastoring Singles & Married Ministries. Talking about Pastor Jimi opened his shirt. David was condemned by wife because of the way he was dancing and God curse that his wife. God called David a Man after His own heart. This was the same David that killed a man because he wanted that man’s wife. A lot of atrocities by David, yet, God look deep into David’s heart. That is not to justify pastors who are sleeping around and doing all sort of things against the word if God. In a situation like this…I will just pray that God’s will alone should prevail and God will arrange that quickly. God will ask Pastor Jimi how he lives his life. God won’t come to me or come to you about how Jimi lives his life here on earth. Judging others is part of God’s job description, not mine. You can judge based on your opinion, I can judge based on my opinion. What God will do is what he will do without your help and my help. Peace!

I really do appreciate your comment and I love the way you presented your viewpoint, but believe me, I know the message of grace and mercy, and that God can deal with any sinner, no matter how dirty he is, but recently the same pastor Jimmy Odukoya you are defending here said that he has a scripture for he way he looks and everything he does that people criticise, he claims his long hair is justified because Samson had long hair, his earrings are justified because Israelites wore earrings, even his tattoos are justified too according to him, and this is someone who was just elected "SENIOR PASTOR", so believe me, it's not about coming here to argue with me and tell me not to judge, my heart goes out to the sincere Christians who are under him and I pray God delivers them and bring them to His true message on time, as for those defending an unrepentant sinner, time will tell

Who made you a judge over him now. Pastors who don't wear long hair and all those physical stuff and are commiting adultery and living flamboyant lives. How did you know they did not pray. David chose Solomon. Pastor is not by appearance. It is God who is the perfect judge . I am not a fountaneer but I believe God will work things out. His father started the church with all his sweat and if there is a mistake anywhere,allow God to help them. He had been a pastor in that same their church long before his father died and the members did not turn to worldliness. You too allow God. Did God speak to you about it expressly that the pick us not his choice. Let's be guided, as Christians we pray , pray for the church not just folc but the church universal. There are ministers who don't wear dread but are commiting adultery and embezzling money in their offices. Some are even into rituals. Worldliness is not physical appearance ( alone) if it's even at all. Wordliness is spiritual , it's in the heart, it's in sinfulness. I was suspended for a year with my husband in the church we attended then because my parents brought video camera to our wedding and we used take away to serve food rather than plates; my church called that wordliness, imagine! Now would you actually consider that wordliness? Wordliness the way we coin it is subjective, we are guessing based on our own prejudice and perhaps background and upbringing not actually on God's standard. I am not holding brief for Jimmy or folc, it's between him and God. I actually thought he's still young in age that probably they should have allowed him 4 /5 more years to grow both physically and spiritually but I am not their member, I don't know who the board of trustees are. There are things they know that we don't and may never know. That's why we have to be careful about our criticism of them especially in public space. Let Christians pray for one another not wash our dirty linen in public, that could be a form of wordliness too you know. We are all human and if you are not in their shoes you won't know what exactly should be done until you are also faced with same situation. Until then let us pray that both Pastor Jimmy and the church will heal and grow. That church has been through a lot lately, we should spare them unnecessary criticism that can contribute to their downfall . Shalom

This is so judgemental. Just because someone dresses a certain way doesn't mean he isn't born again. God looks at the heart. His whole life was structured for the work of the ministry. Even his Higher education was in preparation. That is 1000x more preparation than we can say of >90% of the ministers who never had any formal training for ministry especially in Nigeria. We don't know how the decision was made. We were not there- so why Judge. They need God's guidance not ours. So who are we to make such statements. Let's pray for them. They have gone through a lot. Souls will be saved as he interacts outside of church that won't be saved otherwise. God is the master planner. PSALM 3:3-8.
