I went to church with a girl, same thing. She was in a lot of things in the church but EVERY Sunday she would go up for prayer and do what she did. I called it performing. She was a preachers kid too. I got to thinking these prayers aren't working. It wasn't until a revival that it was recognized and they cast that spirit up off her, right then and there.

What makes judgment so difficult in this is I don’t know the whole story. God may have revealed something to him we couldn’t see. Just because someone is loudly expressing themselves doesn’t make it right or indicate they are actually being moved by the Holy Spirit. If the “man of God” that has been given authority by God over that house can’t exercise authority do you really believe he is the “man of God”? Lord help! No disrespect to any comments we all have different opinions on this. The sermon was "CRY OUT." If she did this for 4yrs why wasn't something done before this time. I grew up old school. COGIC we were told service is subject to change at anytime. We had testimony service, tarrying service, lock ins all night services. Those mothers and missionaries encouraged us to praise God and they praise God with us. There's no way to explain this because I'm not the judge on what spirit is in others. This is sad!😢 Church hurt is no joke! I pray that whatever she's dealing with that she be healed. People are really going through a lot. The word says make a joyful noise unto the Lord! I have worked in Ministry for over 25 years. You will always have someone that will come in the church to disrupt, there is a difference between worship and disruption. And what happens is people that really need to get delivered can get delivered because of the noise that's coming from this person. Lord Works in order, all of the chaos is going on not only in church but around church needs to stop. I salute him for calling it exactly for what it is, a lot of people on here on the outside looking in. And you will always get messy people that will make comments about what they think they know. Salvation is separate! when it's all said and done, he has to stand before God and not man to give an account. You can say what you want, but when you are held accountable for the souls that are before you. You're not going to be worried about what people think or feel about you. Let us ALL concern ourselves with our own sole salvation. Because when it's all said and done, we will all have to take an account of what we did or did not do before God.

With what you just read, please don't over spiritualize this ...... The Bible says let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Church should be the place where people feel free to worship. His messages are good, but this is definitely in the wrong. And even if people feel like it isn't, they should talk to her and help her get deliverance she needs. It’s erroneous that church members believe everything is a specific spirit. We act like people have no control over themselves at all like we are puppets. We as humans have free will, can lack self control and can demonstrate attention seeking behaviors. I’m 62 and we had women in our church who did this and even as a child, I was not convinced that they were experiencing the Holy Spirit or that they needed deliverance. Some people actually need behavioral health therapy.

Luke 18. The Blind man told to be quiet when he was hollering for Jesus to help him. He wouldn’t be quiet until he received what he needed from Jesus, which was healing. I think I would’ve stopped singing and let her get through whatever she was going through. Obviously, it can’t go on forever but if she wouldn’t or couldn’t stop I would’ve consoled her or had someone else to console her because she could be going through something. A song and/or a sermon can bring emotions out that you never knew you had inside. I do think he was very rude and he probably embarrassed her. It wasn't a spirit, she was simply in praise and worship. People cry out all the time during praise and worship, especially when they are going through something personal, or the song has a deep meaning to to them. This is different than someone being in the spirit or shouting. She probably heard him speaking about her and coming towards her. People next to her could have also tapped her. I had a friend run around a church and smash a wall. Afterward, she had no clue it happened. Her hand wasn't bruised, no swelling or pain. She asked us what happened to the wall as we were leaving. That's, in the spirit.

I think many of us have mixed emotions about this. One thing I'll say is if she in fact does this often, then he was already aware that she would probably be going there. "hey, hey" what is that he was not talking to his, he was talking to a child of God. He was raising his hands in Praise the moment was right for the Holy Spirit to stir up someone it just happened to be her. That was his moment to place his hands on her and minister to her. In no way should he have rebuked her in that manner. "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Luke 6:45) He was speaking in tongues, if it was a Demonic Spirit he should have approached it as a true man of the cloth and a a natural man. Wrong is wrong, his actions may not hurt his church, but he put a wrinkle in the perception of praise in the Lord's House. His faithful followers will not be affected because they dare not go against Pastor Keion. This is not his first time rebuking members of the congregation. I pray that the Lord will make it right in his time.

After hearing a little more about this situation and thinking this through, it’s hard to determine what should’ve been done bc we were not there. However, what he SHOULD NOT HAVE done was put her up before people since he had been having this issue with her for four years. As a shepherd, that should’ve been a red flag for him signaling that she needed deliverance. Most churches, especially the mega ones have done away with it and the pastor doesn’t walk in the Power of God to cast devils out. He literally set her up to be emotionally & spiritually hurt and embarrassed. For that he must take ownership and ask her for forgiveness…

Hmmm. I'm torn and this is a tough situation where maturity and the leadership in ministry should have stepped in. I grew up in the Baptist church and one thing they were big on was doing everything decent & in order. In my grandfather's church, he wouldn't have said anything to her directly, but a church nurse or one of the mother's of the church would have gone over and checked on this woman and/or taken her to the back. I mean, I get it . . . people can begin shouting and start jumping all over the place but he was tapping into the Holy Spirit at that moment and she disrupted that. There's also so many women who do a lot of that screaming and posturing just to get the attention of a minister. Some of it's real and some of it is fake. I gotta admit, she was very very loud and so much so that she was drowning out the sound of his voice.

As a Pastor, I would’ve handled this differently. One of the problems is that people have a “program that they are following”, and anything that goes against the program they will treat it as demonic or disruptive. What should’ve happened was that if this had happened several times before, then the prayer warriors should’ve gotten with her earlier, when this first started and prayed with her as well as offered counseling to find it what is ailing her. This is not uncommon what she is doing we see this in the smaller churches that when someone starts going into meditation there ya always another person who starts weeping because that person has something going in in their lives that hasn’t been addressed or they are alarmed to share

It's been said that she does this every Sunday. Why? Some people just want attention. If it was the Holy Spirit, Keon couldn't have silenced her?? But, he should have waited until after the service took her to the side. Think about it Saints it'll come to ya.
