The word of God is open to everyone and of no private interpretation. The Bible says Gos blessed the 7th day n sanctified it. This does not mean the other days were cursed. But the 7th day Sabbath is a special/ different

the pastor means that the Bible was written in context of long ago, when there were no cars, modern technology, etc. The Bible was written directly to people of long past, but the principles are for all ages, hence it is for us too. The pastor is trying to help us understand that to understand the full context included in the Bible we must think from the perspective of someone living in that era.
