I found she constantly teleports next to me and as I melee build I used to get caught in shit meant for her, so i swapped to omenkiller as he can help keep enemies staggered.

Stormhawk Deenh is easily one of the best. Instant attack buff for both itself and the player. Hyper aggressive and one of the fastest mob speeds. Not to mention it looks absolutely badass. Every attack it does is basically a mini hurricane.

I switched to Lhutel, but those skeletons helped out a lot. They were easy to kill, but I'd use them for distraction purposes. When they died against bosses, I'd take the opportunity to do some damage and aggro the boss to make sure they'd resurrect. Rinse and repeat.

The kaiden sellsword is a total monster. Knocks enemies down, buffs himself, can guard counter, super aggressive, and you pick him up in Liurnia, so he's easily available

I know its not great, but the Skeleton Warrior Ashes are pretty solid, because once the boss the are fighting kills them, it still takes another hit to kill the skeletons, and since the skeletons are technically "dead", the bosses can't target the dead skeletons.

Big Fan of the Farum Azula Beastmen. They just stagger the shit out of everything. It's also a lot of fun to just unleash them on a group of enemies, and watch them clean house

Redmane Knight Ogha is by far my favorite, he pretty much solos malenia with his bow, and when enemies get close he can switch to a high damage melee build. (He can also do the lions claw, and rain of arrows ash of war, which is just icing on the cake for me)

I like a few of the strong summons, but my fav was the skeletal warriors, the 3 with spears. They got me through a lot of fights, and then the shield guys, where you get 5. Got through some hard fights with them, Godskin Duo comes to mind. They cornered the skinny one while i killed the fat one, then i through down my glyph and laser beamed the skinny one to death. One of my favorite fights

​@mattkdigg1008 Indeed but Finlay also does bleed(maybe her sythe does when you get it and when a normal cleanrot uses it against you),scarlet rot damage(her puke attack), she also heals, I think buffs you aswell, has a really good piercing sword to do more damage against other knights, a big health pool (she soloed Margot on ng+1), finally she has amazing lore (saved Malenia after her fight with General Rhadon(dude on tiny horse incase I spelt his name wrong).

Bloodhound knight floh. Extremely useful during malenia fight because he is extremely aggressive and stuns her a lot but also stays away. He also inflicts lots of bleed buildup. He also rarely gets hit in that fight (besides water fowl). He is also very useful in other fights as well

I wish they would've included 1 real summon. Like even a hawk or wolf that witnessed a spirit summon of its kin and copied it. Say you get a bell, and when you ring it, the hawk swoops in or the wolf charges out from the horizon for you. You can only use summons in certain locations anyway, maybe a unique icon appears when you can use your true summons. From small creatures all the way to NPCs or Mercenaries that'll come fight for you at the expense of some kind

Rollo is really good, I discovered him about a month ago. Greatshields are awesome if you just want that agro off you. The only other one I use is Stormhawk Deenh because it gives you a variety of buffs > but I'm not sure how strong it is, that's not how I personally run ashes.

I think skeletal summons are pretty good, not no.1 good, but still pretty good for some bossfights. Possibly infinite respawns can be very helpful with some bosses, specially the ones with no AoE attacks. They just keep coming back distracting the enemy, for rather little FP too. Idk something to consider

This playthru I've been using Hughes because I'm using incantations and he uses an alternate damage type for better coverage. My last playthru I was a sorcerer using Kristoff for the same reason. But I still love the one where you get two skeletons with spears who come back unless they're properly killed, those guys definitely distract bosses well if they're able to be resurrected over and over. Great for early to midgame

Idk about the best but jelly is defs underrated. Just ley her spit poison from thr back while you do your thang.

She is ok but I think there are a few issues. The poison doesn’t wear down the enemy fast enough( no poison does) and compared to others I always choose others hah

Rats are really great. You can just summon them when you want since they don't use ANY resources and are just free damage and diversion !

Lattena is really good too. Used her a ton. I really like the spirit ashes. It felt like collecting different buddies to use in battle.
