I just want commend Jason on his beautiful vocals on SHAME SHAME SHAME. It is one of my favorites.

Absolutely! "Shame Shame Shame" is one of the best, if not THE best disco song ever recorded, as well one of the best rock and roll songs ever recorded. And while the late Shirley Goodman's uniquely high-pitched vocal lent the record its rock & roll cachet (stemming from her days with Shirley & Lee and their big 1956 hit "Let the Good Times Roll") , it was Jesus (now Jason) Alvarez's soulful wailing which really sent "Shame Shame Shame" soaring over the top. "Shame Shame Shame" by Shirley & Company was so huge that Cher even performed a duet of it with Tina Turner on Cher's solo TV variety series on CBS circa 1975. And, to come full circle, Shirley Goodman was also a session singer on some of Cher's recording sessions, as well backup vocalist on The Rolling Stones' 'Exile on Main Street' album. I would like to know if Alvarez recorded any more secular music after the Shirley & Company hit and before his conversion to religious music. I would also like to hear some of Alvarez' music pre-Shirley & Company, with the group Brother to Brother.

I remember his song "It's You". I remember hearing it on Christian radio in the early 80s as a young kid in elementary. So nostalgic.......
