Yeah Project Pat has been doing it too.Its just the industry wont support the OG's because besides Jay-z and Diddy majority of the real ones wont sale the rights to their music..i mean souls.😅I wish Pat and Troy would do a collaboration that would bring hiphop into 2024 on some lets get this money shit.❤💪🏾

Damn… this the second time I heard this concerning Troy in the past cpl days and both times i agree… I was 19 and lost. Everyday with a raggedy ass tec-9, prolly 20 rocks which took me 5-6 days to get off, mom on drugs and our house was…. Ian gone even say but my headphones all day on the block and when I got home at night my cd player, just me and Troy.

I hear ya bro. Troy was playing in the background during some of my hardest days. 01 I was alone, just miserable n hated life. Full blown alcoholic at 16, drinkin a 1.75 of cheap vodka every 2 days, robbin, in and out of jail, rehabs, psych wards. shot myself at 19 , 4 month recovery and not long after hooked on oxys/xanax. Im pushin 40 now and finally changed my ways in 2021. The devil fks wit me all the time but im not ever goin back to how i was mane. God bless everyone struggling and God bless Troy. ❤ yall stay strong

This is by far one of my favorite songs! I heard this specific song one day while I was pulling up to the after hours here in Eatonville FL. Crack heads everywhere and dudes moving weight mad late into the night. Went into the club and NO LIE on god Pastor Troy showed up, no security in the crowd and tapped me on the shoulder and said Whats up! We had met previously at Paladium night club where I worked as a bartender and he remembered me as the Puerto Rican Mami! Epic night! Unforgettable!

Pastor Troy my brother to me you are a Legend and I want to share this story with you since your story is heartfelt. I use to listen to your album everyday to get by. My father was from NY and mom from Texas and he was in the air force in China. She took me from there and brought me here leaving him behind. He turned to drugs bad. He came to get me in Fort Meade MD but my brother called police and the last time I saw him was being put in a police car. I grew with anger for police serious anger. I felt the same about everybody but I grew to understand but still was mad. I looked for him but gave up then one day I got a shotgun and went in my room. I put his picture on the bed because I would cry looking at it. I loaded the shotgun with 8 shells even though I needed one. I then put your song on LIVING TODAY THRU TOMORROW. I walked bacc and forth then sat on the bed next to the picture. I placed the shotgun under my chin while looking bacc and forth at the picture. I started to cry and then closed my eyes. I heard a voice call my name over the music and then I opened my eyes and seen my mom coming around the bed. She grabbed the shotgun but I never let go so we were pulling it bacc and forth then it went off. It went off in between us and through the ceiling. She stepped away saying to give her the shotgun while I was saying this is all I got. My little sister was crying in the hallway asking whats wrong with me. I gave it to her. She took it downstairs and called police. I seen them through the bathroom window. When I got home nobody was there so they must have came home. I was upset she caught me. I went downstairs and three cops had guns on me at the door. I showed my hands and came out. One asked whats going on and I said I was going through some problems. They took the shotgun so I went upstairs and fell to my knees asking the Lord to send me someone who loves me because I was filled with hate. I began to stand and then I heard it and felt it. I have a gift beyond belief now and soon I will make a video to change the world spiritually and it is with the number 19. You my brother were part of my revelation for now I see and have become a man all can see. May the gates of heaven swing wide for your spirit for time is at hand. Think

Wow the story behind Troy writing this is crazy..Almost like he was just looking up and writing line after line..But Top 5 P.T. track of all time in my opinion. It touched on social issues, and showed underneath the stunting and bravado, the the reality many from our communities are faced with in the lives we lead and the reluctance in maintaining that way of life.... "I have been without a damn dime"...
