What a beautiful way to paint a picture just like when a couple falls in love and it's all easy until the rough times start to hit and choosing to still love them. Just like our relationship with the Lord. To come back to our first love and do what we did it first.

speaks to me so much especially the start, sometimes as a guy, I find it so hard to open up and be truly vulnerable about how I feel. so often I let the view of what the world thinks a man is, distort what God thinks a man is truly is. I was so easily impressed by worldly valour that I started to hide from who I was by being a super Christian or pretending i was ok. Just wanna let you know, its ok to be not ok.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! the song, your comment, it really related to my situation, it felt like this was what He wanted to tell me this season, (Psalms 42:4-5 maan this spoke as well) I asked God on what to do in a relationship situation (prayed for it as what a Godly man should do 😎 in a span of 4 months ) seeked and I found an answer (to "let go"). Found the answer by a dream, a song then finally a scripture, (definitely repeating huh?) Wasnt satisfied with the answer, I thought maybe it had a different meaning? with the intention to pursue I went on, confessed my feelings but had a pretty rough start. she didn't reject me tho so I went along, trying to talk to her coming in like a "super christian" looking all knowledgable, I got lost. then wanting to hear more of Him, thinking why is God so quiet? Little by little, my thoughts got eaten to the point where it was hard to love God. I forgot the mission, neglected some of my responsibilities, felt oppressed by the enemy, weakened by pessimistic thoughts, where I felt almost insane, it was hard serving Him with these things. Anger, Fear, Jelousy, these thoughts came and it felt like I was caged up by the enemy the only thing that kept me sane was one word "God..." then, I just realized, it all started when I wasnt listening, then scriptures of "opening your eyes, setting free, let go" came....I changed, wanting to do what I want than what He wants... so I believe I finally decided to let it all go, letting God handle His renewal in my mind and the transformation to help me as a better person, and to bemore focused on His mission. Sorry for the long comment, it just made me feel more closer to God so I just wanted to share that we have a God who forgives even if you ran away from Him (like a Jonah) He is waiting, a good Father who patiently waits and accepts for who you are and what you have become, to come even if you're weary and burdened, gives you rest and chases you and showers you with love, grace and forgiveness the moment you repent, that is the Father we serve... by the way, keep on serving! Got love here in the middle east! (Saudi Arabia) 😍

Isaac Escasinas Amen brother The devil came to steal, destroy and kill e.g our joy, peace, ministries, our purpose in God, oir identity etc but He is already defeated on the cross and Got gave us authority to resist him and he will for sure free us. We have the authority to staple on the snakes, scorpions and even drink deadly poison from the enermy but won't do any harm to us. Let us share God's suffering. Our spirit might be crushed but we won't be destroyed. God wants his to be happy that's why sometimes someone might looks good to us but is a lie from the pit of hell. God knows what is best for us, he sees the future and we see temporary satisfaction. He is a good father and he give a good and perfect gift. Serve God, forgive, love yourself, may you be complete in God so that you don't expect someone to complete you. What I love most about this song is how inviting it is to Jesus - it's like it's just saying an honest prayer to God. I'm laying down my need to take control of everything in my life, and instead, let His wind guide my 'sails.' Let His spirit guide me, give me nudges, and lead me where He's working. I like the vulnerability this song communicates with the lyrics, melodies, and long pauses between lines. It's really beautiful and works together well. The bridge is challenging for me, and at first I didn't like it. I feel like it doesn't really say anything... but maybe that's the point -- that there's not really an easy answer to the problems this song explores. Sometimes being open to God's movement and remembering He is here is all we have left to offer.
