The only problem I have with him is that he won't admit his failure, so he's doomed to repeat it, taking Rose down with his ego. I noticed this during loads of their interviews, particularly the Joe Rogan one. You come exclusively to watch Rose Namajunas and, when you realise he's there, put up with a little bit of Pat Barry. But when it's an entire video of him butting in, diverting attention from her and speaking on her behalf as she sits right there, something never felt right. And as I say, if nothing else, we're here to see exclusively Rose, not Pat in any way, so he should sit quietly and contribute when asked to contribute. This whole thing where she, the fighter, she the media presence, she the fan favourite, apologises and quickly moves out of the way for Pat to take control of the interview, speak on her behalf and give her a firm, wide eyed look whenever she speaks in her own interview, is if nothing else really frustrating and annoying to watch as a fan who came to see and hear Rose and, at worst, a display of a really unbalanced power dynamic that he is holding on her and it's just uncomfortable to watch.
