That first album is still frequently on my car-playlist. Such a great album that was and still I'm amazed by Pat's incredible voice and the guitarwork in there. It's obvious that this gitarist found his roots in rockabilly. He has a somewhat same a style in his soloing constructions and freestyle precision as Elliot Easton from The Cars

In 1981 my high school had three teenage Ladies who emulated The Pat Benatar Look. Charlene Ballou had her style of dress, mannerisms and style. Tracy Conn had her physique, attitude and facial features. However, Sharon Bensing had the COMPLETE AND TOTAL PACKAGE and she was my best female friend. ;-}} YOOUUZZAA!!

I was a high school senior 79-80. I had liked Linda Ronstadt, Blue Bayou, etc. Then Pat Benatar happened. Pat ROCKED! Later Linda put out the Mad Love album, seemed like she was trying to be Pat. Pat finally made the Rock and Roll HoF, long overdue and well deserved !
