I just flat out wouldn’t want harden on my team. He’s about to become the next Westbrook/Melo. Someone is gonna overpay him and then nobody will want him once he’s a liability. He lowkey was already that with Philly, in that Miami series he wasn’t trying and was a turnstile on defense. He made them worse when he was out there other than one game.

It is true that a player --especially as it relates to their work ethics and desired or 'intentional' work output-- deserves any due compensation; yet, no one truly has the right to claim that a person is continually due money when they, that person does not have 'intentional', ethical work output. Simply put: unless you are receiving due disabled or retirement income, it's all about "Due Play for Due Pay. WR
@wr6062 жыл бұрын
@@Chris.41 The problem exists when a professional athlete expects to be paid in full for not intentionally performing or 'playing for pay' (this applies to: James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons and the like...); however, as with Curry, he deserves all of his due money because the brother has always had a desire and intent to play to his fullest. Thus, that is the difference, It applies as/when someone desires or have the intent on providing their fullest effort for receiving any of their due income.
@justinfromsg85392 жыл бұрын
@@wr606 Totally well put my friend. This qualitative traits also has an effect on other players, which is why the GSW are in the conference finals; you have fringe players looking up to curry, and being elevated to a higher level. So whilst curry averages 25/5/6, the overall points he generates when he plays is higher. GSW acknowledges the overall impact he has on the organization, which is why Harden was used as a discussion on whether he deservers supermax and not Curry, because it is obvious to the the GSWs org and everyone else that he deserves it.

I agree with you but he sells tickets and last time I checked it was 82 games n the season n he have a lot of fans so he should get paid if nor from a performance standpoint from the money his star makes it for the organization so he should be paid of that n entertainment you get paid because of your fan base not your production or skill and sports are entertainment

I feel like we've also forgotten how the rule change of not being able to initiate fouls -- and how big of a part of his game that was -- has affected his game. Also with his history of placing the blame on Chris Paul, then Westbrook, then Durant/Kyrie, I just don't know how many teams are gonna be willing to pony up that kind of cash not knowing what version they're gonna get.
