I met him in a concert in Orange county, California when he was 82(? ) with great health and mood. I was so impressed that he was so humorous, well mannered, loves his country, such a patriot gentleman🇺🇸. He is much earlier than my generation that I really hoped I could grow up in his era. He is a true American model with great long marriage, sweet family, no drug, scandals. We don’t see many celebrities like him now. 👍👍👍

Pat could sing any type of music, and his range was incredible. He was my teen idol.

No voices on the Hit Parade can compare with this one - so smooth, with great range other singers couldn't match. A joy to listen to 63 years later.

My Mom lost my Sister this year, 1956.Stillborn. Every time this song would come on the radio, Mom would turn it off, hurt too much.

A #1 hit for Pat Boone. It also hit #14 in the United Kingdom. It would finish at #13 for the year, 1956. And the hits are getting bigger.

I just started singing that song and spontaneously thought to see if Pat's performance of it was on KZbin. Wow. I've never seen him sing that. Thank you.

"¡Qué si más me vuelvo loco!" Excelente canción que describe muy bien cómo nos sentimos al perder un amor. Y la primera vez es la peor porque no estamos acostumbrados y no sabemos que hacer. Pero así es la vida y es parte de los dolores de crecimiento. Y son esos dolores los que nos hacen madurar y dejar de ser niños y convertirnos en hombres.

That song was composed and first sung by the one and only Ivory Joe Hunter. Many others including Pat Boone have coveredthe song.

Ivory Joe Hunter's version is better in my opinion. Much more soul.

This is okay but the blues need to be blue rather than smooth and it fails to connect emotionally I feel… Ivory Joe Hunter is more expressive I agree

To the poster: don't ever, ever, EVER try to compare Pat Boone to Elvis Presley again in any context, way shape or form.
