www.fozmuseum.com One of America’s most beloved veteran singers and songwriters, Pat Boone, visited the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem while he was in Israel for a performance. At the museum, Boone - a long-time Christian supporter of Israel -was presented with the museum’s Zionist Cultural Impact Award by the museum’s CEO, Michael Evans Jr., and the Chairman of its Israeli board, Gen. (Ret.) Yossi Peled.
Boone’s award featured a stylized display of a Hebrew translation of the lyrics, which Boone wrote, of the song “This Land is Mine” from the movie ”Exodus.” The emotional highlight of the visit came when Boone sang the song against the backdrop of the Friends of Zion Museum’s wide-screen video of a flyover of the land of Israel.
