This video makes me so proud. My dad is " The Janitor" Robert Edwards. He does still teach although we have moved to another state. Thank you for posting this video, great fighters from a great time.

I saw Robert in the last few years, he is alive and well teaching and living in Easter Washington state. He has a large family, and is a grandpa several times over. HE is still teaching Isshin Ryu and still talks about Mr. Armstrong and all his contributions. Very good guy.

That's so awesome Jim Harrison was the ref. He's still teaching seminars and lessons in Montana. I should probably take full advantage of the fact I'm not that far away...

Hi, Pat. Glad to see your still doing what you always loved.I really enjoy footage you have of the old days,brings back a lot of memories.I got to see my buddy Frank Delorenzis (the ham) in a couple of your videos,was pretty neat.I emailed him the links to those videos.He was glad to see them.I wish I had a movie camera in those days,but i was young.I've got maybe only 5 pictures of those days, that's it.So when my memory fails,that's it to.There isn't much on you tube showing those days,even when i look for wally or daniel richer nothing really comes up.so keep up the good work.Until this day I still tell people that there is only a couple of things that really impressed me and one of them was you doing a demonstration of spin kicking boards while standing in a pile of broken beer bottles,very impressive! I don't remember what tournament it was,but somewhere in Ontario, probably. Again looking forward to seeing any more footage you have of those days,gives me a warm feeling. Thanks again.
