I’ve seen some people criticize that the palette doesn’t have a cohesive color story. My reaction is who cares. There are so many one and done colors it’s a dream for people like me who don’t want to mess with 5 or more shadows to create a great look and don’t give a flip about using a “transition” color. I guess being old enough to remember when all I owned was colorful Dior quints and never wore brown, has its plusses. I don’t really care what KZbin or Instagram tell me is “wearable” for my age. I won’t buy this beauty only because I have both Star Wars palettes and can dupe the 6 new colors with Viseart and indie shadows I own. But it’s still very tempting.

It’s funny to me too because someone buying one of these pallets doesn’t just have one pallet. It’s not like they can’t make up for it.

I find it funny when the same people who complain about a lack of cohesion will often complain about boring everyday palettes, when what they really seem to want in terms of cohesion is a monochromatic palette in a specific colour. Personally, I think all these colours are fairly complementary if more than one shade is used but yeah, it also makes a great one and done palette and you're spoilt with choice if you choose to do that.

I was just irritated with Pat for the Star Wars collection. It was crazy how quickly things were bought up and resold for triple the price and nothing was appealing to buy two palettes for different color stories. I liked the colors once this new palette launched bc it made sense. I understand both sides to this launch but I bought it bc it was chance of getting something limited edition overall for a reasonable price.

I have so many matte shadows, I'm actually glad that i have a palette of mostly beautiful shimmers that I can pair with my other mattes. People have so many eyeshadow palettes, why is it a bad thing to have to grab for another palette to make a look?

I'm not paying $78 for a one-and-done color I want some intricate looks especially if you had hooded eyes you have to have something to define the crease I'll send $35 at the most for a pop of color palette

Works very well with the Jackie Aina palette and there’s a dupe in there too. 3rd row, 3rd shadow in Pat’s palette is a dupe for sponsored in the JA palette.

I couldn't grab the SW palettes so I'm very happy that Pat brought back these shades. For me this is an everyday palette, because I'm wearing glasses I need my eyelook to have more humpf... My order was confirmed 2mns after the beginning of the launch but it still has not shipped, which is very annoying because I live in France, so I will have to wait for a very long time before receiving it. I missed your whole video buying this palette! I used the Affirm payment system for the first time... took forever! I love that she released this at this price. I would have loved to have those Star Wars palettes, but I'm not so die hard that I knew they were even coming out until everyone was totally pissed they were completely sold out! You can actually consider this as a gift for someone else, the price for the amount of product is amazing for PML. I felt so guilty buying that $65 four pan palette!

Girl YASSSSSSSSSS I said the same thing about Jackie Aina! Well I was saying that there were several good dupes!!! That Jackie Aina palette is one of my faves of all time! I got this Pat palette because I have everything so far and I feel as though its great to travel with. I am not traveling buy it is such an easy way to take many PMG shades with me at once! I received my palette on Tuesday after a long ship time, but I am in love. I dont have the star wars palettes, so for me this was perfect. I am going to try pulling out the Jackie and abh palette to pair with it. These shimmers are stunning and I could use this everyday. I hope she makes more of this format, maybe with one or 2 more mattes included. Not too many because I can't give up the gorgeous shimmers. There is so many options with this and I enjoy seeing inso for looks to try with it.

I was thinking it would cost 200 or something since her other palettes are over $100. And with the Sephora sale coming up later this year.... 20% off this palette might make me grab it.
