I got number lll.. loving it, still learning the best way to intensify and get glitter shades to stick. I used a glitter glue primer, which worked great. Your breakdown of the palettes is the most intuitive review I’ve seen yet. Good work.

Thanks so much! So far I've been playing a lot with the "safe everyday" shades, and this weekend I'm hoping to really dig into the "party" shades! Glitter Glue, Fix Plus and some Mehron Mixing Fluid will be by my side!

So far I'm not dying over these. I do think the presentation is superb, the cases remind me of oriental art, a lot of laquer and gold, even the boxes. However, I am reserving my final judgment until I finally see them in person and can stick my finger in a pot. Lol.

I LOVE my Subliminal ( SIGNED by Pat :D ) and my Subversive palette and I can't believe how much I ADORE Sublime. I like that she doesn't have the names in the palette. It's more professional for the pros filling their kit. Once everyone gets theirs, she'll add the names, so I want the pure form.

Michele, I have the M1. Try dampening your fingers and swatching (or your finger/brush when applying) those last 4 colors. Wow! It does change the pigment in a fabulous way. Sorry if you already knew that. XOXO

I'm still waiting on mine to arrive ...so excited! At first I was a bit peeved because I have Metalmorphosis Everything Kit and Dark Star 006 and I didn't like the idea of repetitive shades, then I remembered how frantic I was when I thought I lost the creme bronze shadow (I do my eye makeup on the train!). Now, I can carry these palettes around without worrying about losing anything. 😉

Just to warn you - these palettes are HEAVY! So they're portable, but I'm not sure if you'll want to carry them around!

I'm finding La Mer to have much higher coverage. Surprisingly the Sublimage goes on very lightly. It can be built up, but the La Mer is definitely higher coverage.

Based on the swatches in this video I would not be so eager to buy these palettes. What about all these superduper pigmented swipes that I see? I am confuses 🤓

Hi! I don't dig my finger into the pans to get as much pigment as possible for finger swatches. I lightly swirl a few times and then just swipe. I took a page out of Stephanie Nicole's book where I find it unhelpful when finger swatches are heavy because they look exactly like the shadow in the pan. I also find finger swatches misleading, but I do them because viewers request them. I'll be posting a video for each palette where you can see them on my eyes. (I'm also realizing it's really hard to swatch in front of the camera! 😅)

That one is the largest one that The Original Beauty Box carries. It's funny you mention this b/c I'm slowly moving everything into Alex drawers because I'm tired of seeing everything. But the Original Beauty Boxes are very nice and sturdy.

So if you had to choose one of these Pat McGrath palettes or one of the Natasha Denona palettes, which one do you think you would get more bang for your buck? Quality-wise and color selections? I love this video by the way, I thought I knew which one of these I loved the most until I saw your swatches, now I’m torn again!! Haha ❤️

Right off the bat, I would say you get more bang for your buck with the ND since you get 15 pans instead of 10. I love the PMG palettes for those more "wearable" shades on the lefthand side of the palettes, and I don't end up using the exciting 4 pans on the right, as much as I love them. It's really tough for me to say b/c I don't use the super shimmery shades in the ND palettes as well... 🤔 I happen to really love the PMG Subliminal palette because I feel like I can get a really nice eye look with those 6 pans. With the ND Palettes I feel like I'm always missing one shade, usually just a basic light tone for browbone. I don't feel like I'm helping!! I love both formulas, but I think I like the PMG just a touch more.

@michele wang Love your in-depth review of all palettes. What you should really work on is swatching because pigments are gorgeous in real life & you didnt do them justice! One thing I noticed is ranting about why names arent here there, packaging ... Totally irrelevant imo. We are getting amazing high quality palette and personally I don't care for that piece od cardboard. What I do care is pigmentation, blending , colours, wearing time, fallout etc.
