I love pat McGrath. There is no doubt that she has swept the market by storm with her eyeshadows. I would be like you Kelsee buying every palette. But I am getting tired of the dupes. She is so skilled and yet she sticks to browns. Brown foils. Golds. In every single palette it seems. She would have more of my money if she differentiated a little bit. I get the convenience of not dipping into multiple palettes. But that’s a hefty price tag to pay for convenience. Kelsee. You are hands down one of my favorite KZbinrs. You did beautiful makeup and are so kind and honest. Keep up the good work. You and Mel are all I watch these days ❤️❤️

I couldn’t resist the Divine Rose and it’ll pair perfectly with the Ritualistic Rose quad. Thankfully I have two Selfridges stores in my home town so it was pretty easy to get. I have Mothership II and V so I’m not mad that I have one repeat shade.

Regrettably, I’m a completionist and will grab this when it comes out!!! I think it is a very every day look instead of something I’d use once in a while. This is the first Pat McGraft eye shadow palette that I didn't feel the urgent need to rush out and buy. Because I recognized the similarities of these shades in the other beautiful PMG palettes I already own. And the weird release didn't enthuse me. Thanks for getting this review up so quickly!!

It's back in stock on her website: 2/13/20. Four months later, and I'm still on the fence about this palette. I like these colors, but I'm having a hard time getting excited about it. I've been doing some spring cleaning of my makeup collection. The stuff I keep throwing away is all neutrals. I bought the small Mthrshp 1 palette when it was 50% off, basically bc I had given up hope of this one ever coming back in stock, and since I threw away Naked 1 and 2, I felt like I "needed" a token neutral palette. Btwn that and the fancy rose quad from the holidays, I feel like I've got enough of this color story. But good mauve mattes are so hard to find. Ahhh I'm so torn. Must watch more review videos!

I was also lucky enough to snag this Golden Ticket of a palette and mine came yesterday too! Very impressed because it was the evening and I'm in Canada so I was outside putting my winter tires on and there it was! Haha As for the numbering situation, I think that's a mistake on Selfridges' part. If you look at the palette itself, it doesn't actually have a number like the others do, it just says "Mothership: Divine Rose". So I assume it's like a special edition Mothership that exists outside the permanent line.

I know people who are makeup fanatics or artists don't mind but for those of us who are boring some of those colors and glitters are a bit much at such a hefty price point. Would you say this is more of a cool toned palette or does it lean neutral? I don't think cool toned shadows look good on me but it's hard to pass on this palette when it comes out later this month on the PM website...I am very impressed how quickly that palette made it to you. Look at the box, the lady doesn't line up, which is unusual. I've ordered it and I'm excited to get it. I love rosy, mauve tones on my dark skin but I hate having to open every single palette that I have of hers...just one or two. DHL said I'd get it yesterday but it didnt make it.

Glad you swatched this against Soft Glam. I have that palette and it came to mind while I was watching everyone's reviews of this palette. Similar colour story to an extent, but I feel like I need this one PURELY because of VR Rose Venus. That colour to me is a knock out! Also, I'm a big fan of pinks on my eyes, so will prob be getting this and Ritualistic Rose. And since I only own Mothership V, the repeat shades are not at all a deterrent.

I do love these colors but I also have other palettes with these pinky mauves. So I’ll incorporate her mattes and special shades if I do a pinky/mauve look to create my own!! Even if this colour story isn’t unique - because it’s so much more ‘wearable’ than most of her others, it might be more worth the price tag than other more ‘interesting’ colour stories to most people.
