I purchased Decadence last month. My gorgeous palette packaging was also damaged. I taped it. I realize that we're paying for both the quality and the experience with Pat McGrath. I'm willing to pay for them. The experience would definitely be enhanced if the shipping department took measures to ensure that the product arrived in pristine condition. My palette was in a shipping box with no bubble wrap or cushioning of any kind. While the shipping box was undamaged, the palette packaging was crushed. The experience involves more than putting the product on your eyes! Sorry to be so long winded...... Thanks for a beautiful demo of a gorgeous look!❤❤

My Divine Rose I palette had slight damage to the box as well. I figured it probably happened during shipping. As I recall, mine was wrapped in bubble wrap.

People are so impatient now. They got spoiled with Amazon 2 day shipping. It makes me laugh when I see people complaining about shipping times. I usually forget when I order stuff because I'm so busy, then when it does arrive, I feel like santa came 😂 owning a small business and shipping things daily, people will email me 2 days after I ship their product(s) and I'm like... You have a tracking number... It will get to you when it gets to you. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lol people drive me crazy sometimes.

I think that shipping times are crucial for KZbinrs if they want to get those first views on new products... That’s their reality, and I get it, but because of that, KZbinrs make it feel like shipping should be immediate and create a sense that customer service is lousy if the product hasn’t arrived in less than two days. For me, as someone mentioned here, it is like Santa got here when I receive a package! I don’t care when my order arrives, as long as it gets to me in good condition and as described. Also, I have gotten amazing customer service from Pat McGrath.

everg14 I did a monochrome shimmery smoky eye with it and used it as the darkest shade. With the NYX eyeshadow primer it looked the exact same by the end of the day. Well worth the price, like every other Dior shadow I’ve bought so far.

Terra Moon Cosmetics have the best multi-cromes shadows EVA! The down side is they only do pre-orders. You have to wait a month to be made & shipped but OMG totally worth it! These shadows are out of this world, unique, underrated, telling you worth checking out for next pre orders.

I love that your approach to makeup is more relatable for the average luxury consumer... by that I mean that I want my makeup to be wearable most times, I want to enjoy my palettes, but I’m not gonna make crazy cut creases, other over-the-top techniques, and coucou doll eyelashes. Also, I don’t care about eyeshadows always being immensely pigmented... As long as they apply well, blend well, and are buildable, I’m in! I’m really glad I came across this channel. I’ve been on the fence about purchasing this pallet. I don’t wear heavy eyeshadow like so many channels are showing as I’m a little older and I am starting to develop fine lines. I love that you applied your eyeshadow with a lighter hand so I can see how this would look they way I would apply it. I’m going to buy it. This is the first Pat McGrath pallet that I like ALL of the colors and can justify the cost of as well. Well, I don’t know if I can really justify it. But you probably understand what I mean. 😉 I love the look you did. It’s so pretty. I could wear it to my office, if we ever stop working from home.

My outer carton box was broken too (mine came from Pat McGrath’s site). Numerous people have said theirs arrived the same way so I think the boxes weren’t made well this time around. I ended up putting some scotch tape on mine to put it back together. Anyway, I love this palette and I love the look you came up with. Eleganza is so gorgeous just by itself as a one and done.

I have been putting eyeshadow on my eyes for 35 years. I have spent 100 of thousands of £'s over the years. I've done stupid expensive right through to cheapest of cheap. Cheapest of cheap is usually crap, definitely. However, the your £15.00 -£20.00 palettes today are amazing. I'm not donning a catwalk or having a photo shoot so, why oh why did you buy a $125.00 palette. I think these famous named palette' s need to re-group. High Street drugstore is kicking ass. I have a Barry M gold pigment eyeshadow that was £2.99. You can literally see your reflection in the eyeshadow. There is enough makeup on the planet. I love your look, but nothing I haven't seen before, a thousand times. Duo chrome is available cheaply. Why is this $125.00. Just food for thought. LOVE your videos ❤

As a duochrome shade, there is a Kinda of a dupe in Norvina Vol 4 from ABH - Shade A1 & A2 combined - i bought it & even tho it doesnt look the same in the pan as The Path Mcgrath, it looks the same on the eye 😎✨🤟🏻

I LOVE your explanation of VR Sextraterrestrial (whew!) as being the stem of the rose along with the petals. Originally I was thinking it had something to do with the green of Alien (since I think Mother Pat loves sci-fi), but that is a genius observation and now more than ever I'm looking forward to receiving and playing with my Divine Rose II palette! This is the first large palette from Pat McGrath that I didn't buy. First, I haven't gotten over her marketing tricks from last year. They left me with an attitude. Although I did finally get Divine Rose I. In all fairness this launch was an improvement. Including the fact that this came to Sephora right away. On a positive note, this palette would be spectacular for deeper skin tones. Divine Rose I was way too ashy for my darker sisters. They will look amazing in this one. Thanks for the video. 💚

I ordered this palette, then regretted it right away, (because I didn’t think I’d like it because it looked too pink) then got it, and can’t put it down. It’s such a beautiful palette... and the tones except for the bright pink one, lean more peachy /mauve/goldish to me than all pink. I like the consistency of these shadows, more than prior palettes. They seem creamier to me. Anyway- love it, keeping it- LOVE the eye look you created.. really sultry, pretty look.

I have been waiting for your review! You are the only one I really trust with reviews and whether I should spend my money on higher priced cosmetics. Your reviews are always so thorough and well thought through. I haven't purchased either of the Divine Rose palettes, and I am glad I waited. I think if I had purchased DR I and then saw DR II, I would have been miffed because I personally prefer II.

I would suggest Clionadh, JD Glow, and Dawn Eyes Cosmetics for multichromes (I think Devinah Cosmetics may have some too). I have three dupes for that duochrome already so I couldn't justify buying this palette.

Gwen: *teeheeheehee* Funny story - I got on the website at 8:59:30 ready to snag the pink one, but the checkout got hung up and by 9:01:10 it was sold out. So I bought the black one. I went right back to the product page after checkout and the pink LE was in stock again! I don't know what happened, but I am now the proud owner of both editions. I don't know why she doesn't allow immediate cancelations if it hadnt even been boxed up for shipping, but at least she accepts gently used returns. I couldn't *not* swatch them when the black palette arrived the other day, but the pink only shipped yesterday. Gorgeous eye look! It looks perfectly office friendly. If we ever do return to working in the office. If not, then I can get away with avant garde looks all the time bc we don't use video on our Zooms. 🌹 🌹
