Pat Quinn on Mike Keenan style Coaching

From April of 1994, right before the playoffs started. Quinn wasn't asked specifically about Keenan, he was asked about his patience as a coach being taken advantage of, and he responds by describing coaching he thinks is problematic, and in doing so, intentional or not, he describes Mike Keenan. Keenan is a proponent of dump and chase, and cracks the whip hard on his players, and his teams tend to have a lot of personnel turnover. It's especially interesting given they met in the Cup final only 2 months later.

The title isn't a comment about Mike Keenan it's a comment about his crack the whip coaching style. It came up a lot that year that Pat Quinn was too patient and that the Canucks needed a coach more like Keenan, someone who would kick them in the ass to get them going.
