I can hear why Ramsey is Ricci’s dad. Simply geniuses

My own harmonica journey began a few years after this video was made, too late and too far away to experience this amazing moment in person, but just knowing these three masters shared a stage...and _somebody_ was there to see it LIVE...fills me with joy.

Dennis’s tone is incredible. Hats off to the late Pat Ramsey. He did all of that without being able to hear himself.

that bit where Dennis plays off the Mayberry theme and Jason picks up instantly with the Flintstones is funny, but shows how fast and hot these guys are.

3 masters of the harp; when necessary, they can also play simple blues, but always tempted to display the virtuosity no worries

As a harp player who considers myself average next to these cats I have never heard any harp jam that comes even close to this. Many many ancient heads were cut ✂️ 😳 and beheaded after this jam.

Amazing technique on display , but playing so many notes looses the musicality for me. It is kind of like heavy metal, a Jillion notes played and no emotional content. I know each of these three guys can play serious blues. That's what I was hoping for when I cued up this video

It’s a boogie/swing joint… it’s meant to show out on, which is precisely what they did.
