Bam is a star, but he struggles against bigger guys, because if we're being honest, he should be a wing at this point. He's 6'9" facing a 6'9 Tatum and a 7'3 Porzingis. Or a 6'11 Giannis and a 7'1" Lopez. Maybe Spo needs to play Jovic more. Bottomline is, he needs to have another big next to him.

All the fans are in a frenzy right now because of this statement from Pat, I’m just gonna say this.. Pat Riley is most likely doing this to challenge Jimmy because he knows how capable he is when he’s mad. Jimmy and Pat love each other so much they’re practically like brothers. They have almost all the same motives and are really close to each other. I really don’t see why a stupid extension would get Pat mad because Jimmy hasn’t played that many games. At the end of the day this is this most likely Pat trying to motivate Jimmy for next season. We will probably still give him his extension in this off-season but he just wants to motivate him for next season so he can play a lot more games and the team can see more success in the regular season. Giving Jimmy an extension right now would be the dumbest thing this front office could do. They need to have as much cap space available as possible to sign another star player. Jimmy still has 2 years left on his contract. An extension is premature at this point. Especially since Jimmy is *34 years old* . Y'all need to chill out, and look at things from a business perspective. Last thing you want is the ghost of Jimmy Butler dragging down your team. This is likely the last contract Jimmy will get before he retires. I be very conservative about it.

"Bam Adabayo over me" is not a thought that would or should cross Jimmys mind. He is too smart for that, and Bam should get paid. DPoY candidate since 24...and one of those finals appreances is thanks to Bam making that block. Aside from Embiid he is the best player Jimmys ever played with and Embiid is always injured. The supporting cast has always been the downfall for our teams in the last 5 seasons. DWhite out here putting up 40 back to back to close us out...and he is a after thought on that squad. The Heat is certainly my team for ever. Pat to me hasnt done the best job lately outside of the draft. The future of this team is at stake, all I am going to say is I am not confident in Herro long term and Bulters extension, love Bulter but this team simply isnt good enough offensively in an offensive league. The core needs to be reconstructed, if we extend jimmy and we get caught holding the bag the team will be in trouble for years to come. Its not like we are an amazing regular season team anyways.

Pat Riley and the Miami Heat have no rights to criticize anybody they've been quietly one of the worst front offices in the nba recently they failed to build a contender around Jimmy and Bam and have given ridiculous contracts to role players at best. They could have had Kyrie, Jrue, Markkannen, Donovan Mitchell, Kevin Durant (don't blame em for not getting him), James Harden and even DAME LILLARD and most of those deals really don't take many assets except for Durant and Harden's deals. So they could have easily gotten a contender off of scraps from the nets alone and still failed. If Butler wasn't playing for them they would be a lottery team at best every year. Trade jimmy to a solid team where he can retire with a ring man. Get bam some help

Considering the Blazers didn't want Herro, there was no way to get Drew. Ainge didn't want to send Mitchell to Miami, we all know what happened to Dame, and Durant didn't really want to be here. Dude wanted Miami to keep Jimmy, Bam, and Lowry. Which was no way in hell going to work in terms of the cap. So I understand the concern, but there wasn't 1 deal worth depleted the team for. Look at Phoenix after getting Durant. Top heavy, no bench, no PG, and can't do much of anything. Miami went and got Terry, which is exactly what we needed. A PG who can create for himself, others, and score. With an entire offseason to get healthy and acquainted he will be much better. Jaime will get better, Niko will get better, Bam does need improvement on offense, but is solid. More size should be the focus. Injuries play a significant role in your season. Heat can't seem to stay healthy in the playoffs. Which is why Spo takes the Pop approach during the regular season in terms of the minutes play....
