This was helpful thanks. I was looking for a way to quit pat but just ended up finding the pid with pgrep and killing it. I had an issue where varac wouldn't send to vara modem because pat was running. Still can't believe this runs on linux, with the dumb nag ware popups and everything. You're the man!

I can't seem to receive emails when replying to emails I sent using telnet connection. Any ideas how I might rectify this?

Try adding "//wl2k" to the beginning of your subject line when replying.

I suppose it's possible but probably not a good idea. If you pull it into xastir locally then it has the potential to be rebroadcast over RF thus putting the incorrect timestamp on each station. 73, de KM4ACK
