One thing about African music is that it is different and captivating. It folds you into its rhythm and beat and carries you along Andre and his JSO portrays this piece beautifully giving it that raw beat and melody encapsulating the African heritage completely

I don’t know where that concert was. Andre Rieu is from the Netherlands and very successful in Germany, too. The majority of his fan base are probably middleaged or senior citizens. And the tickets are not cheap. I looked it up for a concert in Leipzig/germany and the cheapest tickets available cost 97 Euros. I don’t know how many older black people with this music taste and income really live here. After all Europes original population happens to be white. That is a bit like watching a concert somewhere in central Africa and complaining that no white or Chinese people sit in the audience 🤷‍♀️

It's the only song I know in the language with that click sound. I really love it. I would have loved them to sing it a bit longer. They were getting used to the stage during the song and we still had to catch the rhythm.

Oto jedna z najbardziej jawnych dyskryminacji rasowej; najlepsze przedstawienie zrobiła ta grupa młodych czarnoskórych ludzi, a na widowni nawet murzyn nie oglądał. Ten André Rieu jest w tym współwinny, ponieważ powinien był dać każdemu z tych dzieci kilka „darmowych” zaproszeń do rozdania ich rodzinom. Dziś uważam tego André Rieu za osobę bezwartościową.
