It's weird that people complain over the Tek Tier like it's some outlandish thing that doesn't fit... Because, historically speaking, somehow the giant futuristic obelisks were still in the realm of making sense, as were the supply drops and strange machinery. But oh man, when the devs expand on that long existing foundation to allow us to discover our own technologies, that's just un-fucking-acceptable. Get a grip. I like that they're adding a lot of stuff. Yeah, they still have to fix other things, but it's almost like that's why it's still a Game Preview, Early Access title, because it ain't done. I agree that saying tek teir doesn't belong is pretty stupid. Obviously tek teir has been a long forseen addition to the game. even if it is incredibly unbalanced. Anyone who's taken 5 minutes to read the explorer notes know that tek teir makes complete sense. I'm just never going to touch a tek teir server unless I become a part of a high end tribe, which will be.. basically never, because I have better use of my time. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Ark. It's a great game with a lot of potential. You can customize the settings so it can be a game for the laid back occasional gamer, and for a hardcore one who plays 9 hours a day. And there's lots of cool features being added. But PLEASE developers! FIX YOUR GAME!!! I don't play anymore because it's laggy and some of the game mechanics are weird. Don't even get me started on the jumping mechanics. I would really love to start playing it again if it gets fixed. So, if any of the game developers read this, (Which they probably won't...) please focus on bug fixes for a few months instead of content. (To all the haters out there: See how I politely criticized the game WITHOUT insulting the developers or using offensive language? You should try that sometime.)

A lot of people are complaining about tribes with maxed out stuff annihilating other tribes, but holy shit, when you go into a public online game, you're asking for that. It happens in EVERY survival game with ARK. There's not really a way to fix it. People will be assholes. It's the hard truth. If it pisses you off _that_ much, then play in a private game with your friends. That's the best experience I've had with ARK. Me and a friend of mine could play this for hours on end by ourselves. It's a fun experience outside the clusterfuck public servers.

People say tek tier is balanced because it's hard to obtain...This still doesn't solve the problem of alpha tribes abusing new players once they get their hands on the gear. This doesn't make sense. If you think this will allow alpha tribes to abuse new players, know that a lot of servers now have permanently trap newcomers forever. When you spawn you will be inside a box of dinosaur doors that you can't pass, along with their aggresive dinos inside. Metal walls, every single dinos, crossbows, and even swords are freakin' OP when you're naked and under attack by any tribe with access to those stuffs no?
