Patch 258: Hyaenodon, Megatherium, Megalania, Hesperornis, Yutyrannus, and More!

Patch v258 finds its way harpooning onto the ARK with an entire boat worth of content! It'll introduce five new creatures to the game, a new way of travel in the form of a gas-powered motorboat, an interactive toilet for when you just can't hold it in anymore, a harpoon gun for all your under the sea adventures, and not to forget; two new hairstyles, optimisations, and a greater Achievement set!
With this update, ARK: Survival Evolved has officially released 100 creatures to the base game, not including bosses, events, or specialized variants!

Hyeandons don't have any fossilised evidence of it though, since sounds are made by soft organs that don't fossilise well, so we haven't got the slightest idea of what they sound like they could sing opera for all we know ;p

This was the last batch of unreleased dinosaurs, with this patch the final unreleased dinosaurs have been added to the game and after two years of waiting, all of the dinosaurs are now in the game.

I'm sure they'd release dinos when the game is released though or even expand the map which will eventually have to be the case. They mentioned a while ago they're going to stop releasing new dossiers to try and get the game released and the day has finally come when they can focus more on fixing the game and polishing it for release rather than adding new things. Good things are ahead and i'm looking forward to it.

The Hyaenodon can be tamed by crouching and walking up behind it and hit E for petting it that is the passive tame for the hyaenodon stay close to it as it tends to run , no food is needed for the tame , if u chase it it will keep running .

You should forget a bit about adding content to the game, just in the next update itself, and focus on fixing some issues like DLC being heavily bugged and please correcting the damn bug of the dinos entering the body on the ground. Corrected this, you can bring back new dinos, like Utahraptor and Camarassaurus, for example, excellent work so far.

In real life the hyeanodon had no modern relatives and it would be impossible to clone right now at this point. But the hyeanodon was a very unique species with a body built similar to a pit bull but it had jaws that can cut through flesh and bone like a guillotine and through fossil evidence it shows this animal can sharpen its own teeth as it gets older because the teeth curve inward over time sharpening its fangs making it more dangerous and it was a lone hunter plus it was a rival of the daeodon.
