You can get an eldritch knight like wyll- to pact bind an expensive weapon- then select that weapon plus a 2nd item of your choice. Add both to wares, then when at a merchant, press "add wares to sell" and sell the good. The pact weapon can't leave the warlocks inventory, so you can max out merchant happiness AND infinitely barter all their money away. It's more tedious but is also a working strat!

I think it's great that larian Studios released a complete game, without additional pay stuff, and microtransaction, and drm, and all this other stuff. But with that said, I am genuinely surprised at the near Universal praise this game has received. I found this to be incredibly boring, and shallow. I predominantly and almost exclusively, play crpg, and I couldn't even bring myself to get through chapter 2 of this game. I created a dozen different new characters, and made it to level six or seven, but with inevitably abandon it and try again before finally giving up after about 110 hours. It was incredibly boring, that's the most accurate description I can provide
