@@joalfred8548 her satchels are still more versatile (knockback on enemies, destroying util, the movement choice between vertically, horizontally, or both). jett has to use half her kit to do what raze does with one ability, and raze doesnt have to wait for satchels to start up like dash does. raze’s kit is also better and easier in general imo, with nade, boom bot, and her ult. the only reason to choose jett is to use dash as a get out of jail free card

I think most raze players will need to tweak their spots for blast pack to compensate a bit to take advantage more of the height that blast pack gives to get to the same spots consistently.

I'd say, for jumps like the 1st one you did, the nerf mainly makes it easier to expect a Raze's Paint Bloom Surprise - Sky/e Edition as the nerf mostly forces someone to only be able to show up in certain spots of an area. This would be further backed up by the fact that they heightened the Satchel Audio Range (if I saw correctly)

Such a weird change. The real concern I have isn't not being able to do double satchels that aren't even useful in normal games, it's satchel peeks being useless and really easy single satchel jumps suddenly becoming an issue.

Yea in pro play no one really double satchels, most just use it for stall or like a mini dash. I guess it makes it harder to escape sticky situations with this.

Honestly, they probably could've limited the horizontal speed and simultaneously increase the vertical height so that these jumps are still possible, but slower horizontally. They could even change razes gravity strength while affected by the satchel so that raze is slower, but the jumps are otherwise unchanged.

judge raze got nerf as well because of the movt. nerf. They might have capped the max aerial movt. speed or made the sweet spots more tighter as earlier hitting the sweet sports on stachel used to give insane horizontal movement unlike any other agent in game.

On a custom it may look bad, but in actual games the main nerf is to make raze a easier target during flights. Like, still, talking about duelists, the only agent that can match Raze's entry potential is Jett. Raze was legit broken. What a Iso can do for a exec? Trow a vulnerability? What reyna can do, trow an eye? Raze will clear space with boom bot, completely remove a spot with the nade and then will fly to the site. Thats too much. Shes still a top tier agent.

Great video, thanks. Was wondering why you weren't getting thousands of views, and it might be because of KZbin and its dislike towards swearing. Apparently higher usage of what KZbin deems as "unsafe" language will result in less reach, and therefore harder for the algorithm to pick up. And since many valorant players are children, this is especially so. I think some youtubers get around this buy not swearing in the first few minutes, then let loose after a while. Dunno, dont quote me on that though

i'm not a raze main but I consider satchels to be the only ability in valorant that actually takes practice & time to learn, and is difficult to master. nerfing it is quite a cheap move. I guess they're just always trying to equalize the pick rate of all agents but I hope at some point they just stop releasing new agents so they don't have to keep ruining the existing ones.

Kinda wish they didn't nerf the satchels a tiny bit, so the most skillful ability of her kit isn't as good anymore, and instead nerfed the nade or something (heard someone say the nade shouldn't be able to kill people and I think that would be a fine nerf for raze). The problem with raze is how much support she gives to the team while also being a movement duelist, so she just outclasses every other duelist in high level play
