Wow. Really impressed with your use of samples with the modular set up.

The first melody i thought there was a vocal sample involved. This was incredible
@delmerdarionmusic4 жыл бұрын
Yeah there is! Those stabs at the start are all vocal chops being played as splices on the Octatrack. To get the final sound, they're run through an external effects chain made up of a few guitar pedals.

can’t understand the hands and synths organization of this video. (it’s amazing)
@karp0ffVID2 жыл бұрын
It is combination of two videos. I think the one with morphagene and analog heat is from another “session”. That’s why it was hard for me too)))

Especially liked the fine but punching drums. Is this the drumbrute? Or just samples on the OT?
@delmerdarionmusic4 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about the drums at the end, they're a mix of live DrumBrute being run through an external effects loop + a few samples on the Octatrack. But the samples on the Octatrack are themselves of the DrumBrute being run through a lot of fuzz on the Old Blood Noise Endeavours Haunt pedal! So it's all DrumBrute + effects in one way or another.

That's why I originally clicked on the video - hoping for tips - but I stuck around because the performance was sick. Also, I lust after the analog heat sound...

@Delmer can you elaborate on pad starting at 0.17? is it a sample or are you controlling your modular through Oktatrack? I sold my Drumbrute some time ago, but I do miss this clicky kick.
@delmerdarionmusic3 жыл бұрын
Fairly sure that pad is a sample that's being manipulated on the Morphagene in the modular set up!

Wow now this is electronic music. Stunning. The tension and atmosphere take you on a trip. Question, The very first seconds, that heavily distorted sound, how would you recreate that type of sound? What kind of distortion is that?
@delmerdarionmusic4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! Those stabs at the start are all vocal samples being played as splices on the Octatrack and then run through an external effects chain. The effects you're hearing are probably 90% Black Fountain (an amazing oil can delay by Old Blood Noise Endeavors) and 10% Haunt (a fuzz pedal, also by OBNE).
