Im a low budget,food stamp,diy,trying to teach myself electronics. . Just came across you ,troubleshooting a un49m5300 psu board almost same as this. Got 13v on 1,3,5,7, and 4v on 2 4,6. Suppose to have 13v also. Im thinking regulator. (Think they on back). But u made me look at the joints. And many look all £_(k€d up.. nice to have fancy dancy ,Mr. Jones desoldering tool. Maybe in future ill have 1. For now desoldering tool is matches and a Mickey D's straw . Lol. Trying to make u laugh. I have a plastic hand clumsy press button suck tool. But something. Ill do joints 1st then get back to you. I want to say you make understanding this stuff,very very easy. I want to thank you. You gave light and hope to my endeavor ,in learning this. My extent of education. Was shop class. Mr. Goldstien and have no other to help . And he passed in 2012. Unfortunately i embarked on learning. Too late. He saw something i me in 1988. Sir, thank you for the wonderful video, and sharing your knowledge with us. I come with a question - I got a relatively old Samsung TV, 49" curved. long story short, my son threw a toy at it, and the rest is history. since there are no spare "curved" displays that are sold in my country, I had the idea of salvaging the housing from a different samsung 49" model, and use the "curved" innards, place them in a flat housing, and then simply install a spare flat samsung 49" LED screen. Is it doable? if it is, what model number 49" screen would be compatible with the motherboard from a curved TV? Thank you!

I fixed the e7000. there is a known psu 3 capacitor issue. I dud the fix years ago. but didn't know as much.. orientation of components. may some boardsall 3neg(-) terminal is on bottom. I remembered watching video. maybe you or the Dog guy. whom is also great man. sharing knowledge. 1 of the caps. needed to be orientated opposite. look like al 3parrallel. and they are. . however the traces has a trap. foursome reason mounted opposite. dah. iby putting all 3 neg on bottom. they won't be on parallel. cause 1 trace the negative is on ttip. I almost ordered aboard. but I can fix basically any psu. I x2 check my work. and noticed the trace flp flop.if u come accosd but I need help on a

I need help with a MAC1900 tuber section. and maybe swit h. I totally recapped(WIMA MKP and restored. I upgraded everything. diode,load res. all BJT pairs. and few others new outputs. new triacs for the crowbar. FINALLY GOT HER RUNNING. BUT NEVER DEALTWIRH A FIXED BIAS. . dcv offset fine. something bipolar. disorder on the mix. poss. bad tube. I haven't tester. and continuity fine. might need alignment. something I can't do. no knowledge or proper equipment. I'm scoping atm. male sure wave forms are correct. I have a ged and I can follow your videos. make a video explaining biasing. and feedback. there is no info on mac1700 and no pot. it's auto bias. not really. 1967. quasi complimentary out put stage. is the emmiter resistors what going to change? what needs to be measure . I'll figure t out. wish I could post pics. hot rodded 1967 mcintosh hybrid.

After watching this video which dates back to November 28th, 2020 looking at the motherboard of the power supply that needed to be replaced. Samsung has a notorious problem with heat and poor ventilation, their ventilation at the back of the TV is insufficient, and needs to have a couple of fans or bigger ventilation holes. That motherboard should have been replaced with a much more updated version. Apparently, those LEDs are really pulling on the power supply components, the designers of the motherboard placed insufficient components on that motherboard for that motherboard to look and to be in that condition. Now it seems like if you replace that motherboard power supply unit, you would get the same components, so, the next thing that has to be done is a sufficient airflow going through the back of the TV with a couple of fans for sucking and pulling air through the back of the TV. Otherwise, you will have the same situation all over again.

@@Patch1stripeTVParts you're absolutely right Samsung does not listen to its customers that well so couple of fans won't hurt and an upgrade of components by a technician would be helpful otherwise they do have a good product they just need to improve its efficiency keep up the good work.

I think they in tat needed bs circuit. the efficency circuit. to save electricity. $$. meanwhile u waste it n fixing a bad designed circuit never needed in 1st place. I'm going need smehellp on a js9500. I lost baack lights. . but I think oneof thetrsnsformers are bad. where can I get 1if these?
