When I lived in Barrington and wanted to get into Philadelphia I loved taking this train. Going over the Ben Franklin Bridge was fun. The line was ahead of its time with automated gates. The trains were very clean. That was 25 years ago. Nice to see they are still a very nice train to ride.

I LOVE PATCO! The trains are clean, the stations look great, and the views over the BFB are downright incredible. Excellent asset to the people of Philadelphia and Southern NJ. Here's to hoping the line gets extended into West Philadelphia University City and reliefs some of the congestion on the overcrowded Market-Frankford SEPTA line

Not gonna lie, the PATCO Speedline reminds me of the South Shore Line operated by NICTD. Since it travels from one state to another state.

By the way Ashland is in Cherry Hill not Voorhee

The station and most of the parking lots are in Voorhees, but there's another parking lot across Evesham Road in Cherry Hill.

Why do the PATCO trains sound their horn a lot of times?
@drepark2294 Жыл бұрын
Because they go from above ground/ underground and vice versa.

Only RT line in the Camden/Philly portion of the Northeast Corridor I was ever on was the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line... Although I'd heard of it, I never saw where the PATCO line went before... A shame this won't get you clear to Atlantic City, but PATCO would have to face off with NJT and the bus lobbies, not to mention change to the fully-zoned ticketed fare system that would probaly wind up costing riders three to five times more! Nope! Better just as it is... Thanks for sharing this...
