I know this is going to sound to crazy but I remember I used to be extremely judgemental of women who didn’t know who their child’s father was. It wasn’t until I got pregnant myself that I realized just how tricky pregnancy dates can get. Im married and only been with my husband when my baby was conceived but on numerous occasions the doctor/ ultrasound tech tried to change my babies conception date because he was measuring larger or smaller at different scans. Since I knew my ovulation and the date of my last period I corrected them each time. Some women don’t track their period and some women don’t have normal occurring ones so they go by what the doctor tells them. This can be confusing. Now im not in any way condoning women to sleep with multiple men in short windows but I’m just saying that I seen it first hand how dates can be misconstrued. While it wasn’t the case for me I can now see how easily it can be for a woman to think someone else fathered her child with the dates a provider gives a mother. At one scan they tried to tell me that my conception date was almost a month off because he was measuring so big. I knew that was incorrect so they adjusted his date in the computer but if this was another woman who may have been with another person and didn’t know her dates then I can easily see her thinking another man may have fathered her baby with the timeline the doctor gave. For a single person a lot can happen in a months time. I will suggest for them to be safer but will judge no more.

In the last case, I knew he wasnt the father. The way she counted back to the conception date to determine the dad isnt how its supposed to be. When she found out the doc said she was six weeks. That means she would have conceived only 2 weeks before because they calculate pregnancy from your last period. The second guy would have to be the father.
