I had my daughter after I got my bachelors and went to get my masters when she was 1 year old. I’m now in the peak of my career and we are both doing very well. Her dad ended up bailing out and turning into a completely different person since then. She’s 5 now and he hasn’t seen her in nearly a year. We have been broken up for the last 3 years. But, I have a fiancé now who takes good care of her and has risen to the occasion of being her father and my soon to be husband. Life is not perfect and sometimes things don’t go according to plan. I never expected I’d be a single mother and marrying someone else who is not the father of my child. But honestly, even with that, my life is really really great. I travel the world with my daughter and take her to see so much. I also travel with friends and my fiancé and I are headed to Rome next Summer. The support from my family is amazing too. No, I wasn’t married when my daughter was born, but I was stable and had a good head on my shoulders. Seeing these cases with some of these people makes me sad. They’re so young and have not lived life before popping out multiple kids left and right with just anybody. It’s sad.

We know who the mom is... it’s the dad that’s in question. Then she was complaining about the 2 packages of diapers. Girl please!🙄 THEY (him & his mom) had NO legal/financial responsibility to that child UNTIL it was PROVEN that he is the biological parent. The boy’s mom was cool & collected. This episode breaks my heart. I was them at one point. I got pregnant at 18 and I now have a 17 1/2 year old son whom is my world! However, it took me until he was 8 to straighten my own life up and be a good mom to him. His biological father never did straighten up. I have been married for over 10 years now and I have 2 daughters also. They had structure and stability and a daddy at home. The difference in personalities in my girls and my son is daylight and dark. It has been a struggle and I have faith my son will be fine but I pray a whole lot for him. My girls excel in everything they do. He struggles in everything. He’s SO intelligent but he has a wild streak in him and it all has come from me and his dad not being the parents he needed at a very young age! It does make a difference in the types of people kids become when they don’t have a solid foundation! I have guilt over my son but I also know I have encouraged and done my best the last several years. So there’s nothing more I can do now. I just wish these young teens could see how things turned out for my son solely because I was always bickering with him and his family and I wasn’t focused on my baby! My mom got involved in my relationship with his dad. His mom got involved in our relationship. Everyone was pushing us away from one another and instead, they should’ve let us figure things out instead of making things worse. I know they were trying to help but it didn’t. So the girl in the video needs to tell her momma to back up some and stop pushing this young dad away and give him a chance now to show what he can be. If the dad chooses not to step up then that’s on him and they just need to do the best they can to love this baby without him! I know what I’m talking about! I lived it! I see the product of a broken home and bickering family members in my son today. And I regret my choices back then when my son was a baby and toddler more than any other time in my life! This family needs to stop fighting and get it together! My girls have had peaceful lives and it shows! All kids deserve to have peace in their homes.

@@danapalmer7582 It's not just about having priorities in order. You can have children at a younger age and still be successful. Most people's parents did it with no problem. I've had children throughout my 20's & 30's and let me tell It's a VERY BIG difference. I'll be 35 before I deliver and it's much harder than it was in my 20's. I'm sure you get what she means the older you get the more stress for both mom & baby. Plus take in to consideration the quality of life a child will have while EVERYONE is aging. I'm younger than you I consider these things. I truly feel the judge I couldn't imagine having a baby in my forties it's hard work no matter how accomplished one may be.
