Letha Turner I noticed that too, but I’m pretty positive she came off like that because she couldn’t bear the thought of such a huge disappointment. After losing everything, thinking you’re getting family again and a second chance and then having it disappear in a second, like everything else that you’ve loved, would absolutely crush anyone.

Losing a mother and the man who she thought was her real father in a car crash only to find out her true father is not only still alive, but kept the search going even when her family tried to sweep that under the rug...I can understand why her emotional guard was up. But gotta let it down now -- you *are* the father! :)

exactly, like when she got mad about the break up saying "you shouldn't have let other people get in her head, you shouldn't have left".. he kept saying he didn't leave her, it was her choice. the daughter can't hold that against him, he couldn't control her mother, she was her own person. so why blame him? and then to get mad that he isn't great at facebook stalking... sweetie, he's from a generation when computers didn't exist in homes or schools... she expects too much

@Ignez Maciel I never saw, met or knew my biological father, and now that I'm 58, I know I won't. The next best thing would be for me to take a DNA test to locate his other children (I know of 2 older sons/half-brothers) and my extended relatives. I need closure. I gave my son the opportunity to meet his father and spend 9 days with him. He decided at age fifteen, he only wanted to know his half-siblings who wanted to be in his life. My son didn't even want to change his last name when paternity was established. We are both carrying the last name of someone who wasn't biologically related to us, but loved us like we were blood-related. Although my mother and dad separated when I was 5 years old, he remained in my life until he died, and loved me unconditionally.

ain't a daddy IF he can't be there for his child or children. IF they let their spouse decide when and IF they see their children, they are NOT a man. I know this does happen, unfortunately. someone let his spouse tell him how and when he was allllowed to see his first 2 children. wellll, he let her run his life, she's dead from a brain tumour, and he's lost his first 2 kids. his loss, his fault, and nowhere close .. to being a man.

What a strong man. Not just in that he continued his search for over 20 years, but that he never lost his temper or spoke ill of others. He had no legal right to see his daughter but he didn't yell at her for continually saying he should have done more. The mother lied to her daughter and he never called her a liar or a sneak. He explained himself without being defensive despite attacks. What a great character, he would have been a fantastic role model for her growing up. Hopefully now that she lives with him and they are working through things she can get her sons back and they can have him as a positive influence.

Moon Bun ... EXACTLY! She acts like she can’t comprehend that her mother lied to her and the family upheld the lie after her death! I’m not judging, she may have had what she felt was a good reason to do that. But young lady be grateful to God that this man was looking for you and refused to give up! There are so many that KNOW they have children 5 minutes away and won’t look AT them, let alone FOR them! But maybe it was a defense mechanism until she heard the results. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m very happy for the both of them either way, and pray they are doing well and becoming a family and supporting each other.

Blasianaire my father lived about a 10 min walk away from me and barely was in my life. I later sort of forced my way in because I could go on my own and I wanted to spend time with my younger brothers. I don’t hold any ill will because he was always a wonderful grandfather to my daughter so I let any of those feelings melt away. Still would’ve been nice to have a dad though but I’m happy my daughter has a grandfather.

He said the reason he upped his search was because he saw someone else die with nobody to leave his estate to. Knowing he had a daughter, this guy wanted to put her in his will. That sounds like he has some sort of means and he said he was there to support her. She also got a college scholarship. Hopefully, she will make a better life and get her sons back. She sounded like she misses them and felt hopeless. It's great to see her get not only material help, but emotional support as well. Plus, this show makes sure people have counselling afterward. I think she's going to be ok now.

This so wonderful that he never stop trying to find his daughter. After 24 years most men would've never cared and moved on. I'm just so sad that the mom wasn't here in person, but in spirit to see this for her daughter. Good luck to you both.

Paternity tests needs to be mandatory with every birth period!!! Also the father needs to be educated before he signs the birth certificate. This also needs to be mandatory. Anyways, Beautiful. The fairy tale ending was amazing. I'm a guy but this almost brought me to tears. Both at rock bottom... Him trying to find his daughter for so long. Her trying to stay above water. GOD is good.

@@tinasoblessed6350 no disrespect, but not everyone adapts fast enough. Some do, some don't. For example, I'm 26 and I have basic technology knowledge, I can look up anything, I can use social media in my sleep, etc, however...my 32 year old husband just can't, technology grows too fast for him...he needs help with new phones, etc. He can use Google, but Google is just the tip of the iceberg

hahaha I'm 57 and a computer wiz. Just not everyone my age is the same, but most of my friends are computer savvy. A few only, those that are less educated are worse off than me computer wise. My mom was doing well at 75 on the computer, using skype, email etc. She even started doing art on the computer. And that was 10 years ago, before she died! No need to generalize about us "ol' folks"! :) I'm just happy he finally found her and they will work out their issues and she will hopefully get her kids back now that she's living with him and he will take good care of her. PLUS she will get a free education from the university where her parents met and fell in love. Better late than never! YEAH! Happy ending.

I think her moms family didnt approve of their relationship and did their best to keep them apart. And once the mom was in another relationship he probably did not want to cause any problems out of respect. Maybe he had a rough life and was not in the best position at that young age... Sad that her extended family did not tell her the truth even as an adult and she was going through so much, they should have told her so she could have got some support from him earlier.

The mother's family ruined their relationship, but he found her anyway and they made plans to meet and let him meet his daughter. Then she died. That week she died. How cruel is that. He worked 8 years to get that woman to believe in him again. Even though he loved her so much. Then the whole house came down in a moment. And then her family ruined her life for her. They did that girl no favours. The mother made the mistake of listening to her family, leaving just because he wasnt yet ready. Letting her family whisper doubts in her ear. It hurt listening to this woman deny the earnest love of a father, using her mother's family as a source. Darling, you're homeless. You lost your kids. You have no one. Where are these people who cared about you so much and loved you so much that you trust them so deeply? Where are they honey? This was the happiest episode, best episode. The fact that he believed she had to be his, that he never allowed doubt. that he trusted a dead woman who left him for no fault of his. That he genuinely believed she love d him as much as he loved her. that he held onto that one memory for 24 years, not pining after the woman he slept with, but after the girl he made. even though they both moved on from each other, he never moved on from her. I understand why she was so cold and refused so vehemently. But she lost her parents and miraculously found another one. Not many people get a second chance like that.

Wow how she says “a part of me is really missing”...not gone! He was there as a part of her all this time and a part of her felt it and now knows that. I’m not hyper religious but I believe in spirituality and these such intuitions and telekinetic communications or unexplainable connections....what she said made this evident! Beautiful, the most beautiful episode out the 30 I seen! I doubt I’ll see another. A good man GREAT MAN!
