Paterson, NJ, USA, a walking tour on May 21, 2022 in 4K

Originally inhabited by the Lenape, Paterson, NJ was established in 1791, and is situated near a waterfall that provided energy to this cradle of American industrial revolution.
The city has been stagnant since 1960s, but now starting to show signs of growth.
I walked through both the old industrial, and the existing commercial areas, ending at the Great Falls.

As a native of Paterson, NJ, it's great to see someone capturing some of our beauty and not just the bad parts about it. Yes, it has its flaws, but doesn't all places do. No place is perfect. Great video.👍🏾

That burger king was the last place I ate with my mother. 1991 I was 11 years old in the foster system. It was around my birthday. It was just her and me. She had gotten me a batman action figure and took me to burger king. One month later I got picked up by my case worker and brought to the dyfs office right up that block and was told my mother had passed.

Downtown Paterson is terrible. Very unsafe. The safest part of Paterson is South Paterson, where the Muslims are. The Muslims need to spread throughout Paterson to make it safer.
