Yeah dodge roll doesnt give you s, just reposition your char. He dodged after the boss mech started. The game got a visual bug, but that was 100% on Quin.

Ok, i'm a HC fan, i get it. But why is there no logical explanation to why and how players get oneshot with 7000 hp or shields? What kills them so damn fast? I don't get it.

Often, what kills them is on-death effects, like fire explosions. Or those elemental auras that also explode. Basically, don't play melee range. This game hates melee.

That was actually my editing mistake! I let Premier auto-transcribe the clip then I correct the mistakes (it doesn't have the GGG context). I swapped out the 'dude's but must have reverted the changes to the nest some time before exporting. Oh well, it'll drive some comments on the video! -Dom

Just like Quin I died on that BS first boss too first time I tried hardcore but it was because on the ps5 version idk about pc but ps5 sometimes when u dodge near the edge of the map the character like falls off for a second and drops down then shoots back up really quickly and when it did it put me right in front in the middle of that boss charging run and bam game over was nothing I cud do from that point and I was like 💩 if the games gonna play me like that on hardcore I shudnt even try but try try try I must and things r going a lot better now! 🤞

The problem w/ a lot of these deaths is not knowing if they are bugs or intended. GGG doesn't want players one shotting enemies but its okay for them to one shot you. Rules for thee but not for me...

@poe2_hc I don't think it is overtuned (apart some cases), most deaths are either non capped res players or not obvious enough one shots/effect plus the occasional mistake. If you want a glass cannon pay the price..
