@@augiesaint if you run Windows10 turn off windows game mode, this causes stuttering....In Win11 this shouldn't be the case tho but not sure. ;)

I'm leveling up my second character by investing in some Leveling items so I can use 2 auras at level 20 4 links, and a skill too etc. The problem is that I'm not able to proc shock enough, and from what I looked at in the tree we also don't get help points in the shock proc, like you did in leveling to proc the HoT aura since it almost never shocks the mobs, they freeze with 2 hits so it procs the HoI a lot.

@@scd3232 I think you might have to wait until you are a higher level to use it, I only started using it after beating the story and starting maps, for leveling just lighting rod and arrow will carry you also the orb of storms tactic with lightning rod melts bosses

Noob question. Does putting Cold Infusion on Lightning Arrow which applies "Supported attacks deal 50% less lightning damage" mean a big hit to damage since the build is mostly lightning?

not really since we scaling the physical into cold, we just trying to get enough cold to actually freeze within 1 to 2 shots is the goal

you need to be freezing and killing enemies to cause the herald of ice shatters, so if you are not then it wont really do much

How do you sustain your mana when mapping. I have a 5 link LA without inspiration and it's eating my mana if I don't 1hit a pack

I think I was running level 17 earlier in mapping before my 6l and it was fine the mana, but def getting mana on kill helps, wanted to mess with mana leech soon aswell, or you could pick up the passive mental toughness in the tree is close to other nodes would just need to drop like 4-5 points to grab it

Thanks for the video, the gear and skills chat was really helpful. I’m new to PoE, have a lvl 76, but getting 8nto issues getting innervate and persistence on the cast in freeze bat, the game won’t let me slot the in? I have 180 dex, 120 int, 188 spirit. Any ideas?

maybe you have them already equipped some where or you don't meet some kind of a requirement, it should usually tell you what you are missing,stats spirit etc

Will this still work without any cold damage on gear? Also have the ring to swap lightning damage into cold. Still thinking on trying this one, but have none cold stats in gear atm

@@andretrindade8077 I think you need at least one source of added cold damage but might also work with just the support gems on LA use glaciation like I mentioned in vid to help of you don't have much cold on gear

No it doesn't work without cold gear. The sweat spot for cold dmg will be from 20-30dmg upwards. Only then you will freeze really fast. Try to get a quiver with a high cold dmg roll since every roll on your quiver gets 80% plus due to the passive tree. a good quiver will have 15plus cold dmg min, projectile speed and elemental dmg with bows. If you add attack speed it'll get really expensive. See if you can do without at least at first. Best would be to get a quiver with cold dmg, projectile speed, dmg with bows and nothing else since it'll be cheaper. Then you pry for luck and get attack speed and maybe even mana on enemy kill.

@@jeromekraut8652would crit chance effect the damage of the cold? I have a quiver with like 45% crit chance that seems to be doing well. My gloves have maybe 8-20 cold damage.

@@shemonlau5542monk prob the most comfortable mapper but if you are min/maxed there’s no way monk is faster than Ranger. It’s simple math of availability of movement speed bonuses.

build working fine for me all day on stream speed farming t15-16s, just need to make sure you getting enough cold to freeze then shatter and proc herald for the clear
