Path of Exile 2 NEW gameplay footage looks INCREDIBLE!

I cannot tell you how awesome this game is to play. I played PoE1 for 12+ years (every league since beta) and once I played PoE2 all the way back in 2019 at the first exilecon ... I knew it was all I wanted to play. People think it looks slow, but I can assure you, while playing it you will be in pure adrenaline rush mode. Super fun. Nov 15 can't come fast enough.

For people looking for poe 1 blasting, this game is meant to feel the combat, all the mechanics hold massive weight which in my opinion is what poe1 was lacking.

Your footage has some sort of consistent microstutter that makes the game looks like it almost has a stop motion art style -- Look pretty cool actually haha... But I know the game is actually buttery smooth.

For the blasters worried about the game being looking slower, especially projectile/Bow mains, keep in mind that you can 360 aim and attack while moving, vs poe 1 stutter stepping. Even if you are moving faster in poe 1, you are still having to stop to attack. We have only seen up to act 2, with non solved, non min-maxed builds. Im sure in endgame poe2 you will atleast be on par speed-wise strafe shooting as you are in poe 1 going stationary to attack and stutter stepping, if not faster thanks to not needing to stop.

so POE2 is POE1 with 200% temporal chains applied, and 99% reduced enemy density and item quantity. Isn't that just glorified Ruthless mode in disguise under new engine ?

Im thinking that it won't be as much zoom, blast, and can't even tell wtf is going on cause all the projectiles chaos, but its cause that won't really work with what they were going for in poe2. They did say though, that if some of that is scaled back, such as having less projectiles on skills, that it will still feel about equivalent thanks to how the rest of the game is designed. We've only seen up to act 2 though, and the games not solved like poe 1s campaign is at this point, pretty sure we'll still be blasting and zooming endgame, but it'll be much more readable thanks to all the new animation work they've done. Having played it myself, the game looks slower than it actually feels while playing it, the amazing thing, is that it's free so maybe a give a try and if it's not for you then that's fine, they're still gonna keep poe 1 teeming with new content.
