This is one of the few times I don’t fault the devs at all for being overloaded at launch. It is insane how many people are hyped for this release. I think there was a lot of pent up demand from people who wanted to play PoE, but the hurdles for new players were just too much.

I've got a game on my second monitor specifically for when I'm not allowed in the game for 2 and a half hours. Also man, 2:45 is a pretty rough blow. Was one of the selling points of witch. Makes it easier to pick the others I couldn't choose between though.

Just a small correction. Bound spectre is not a “witch skill” it’s a minion spell, any class can use it.

Whenever I get a chance to play early access I know that I won't be bothered about the Bind Specter gem not be available for the witch. That is because my first choice for a class is either the Warrior, due to the fact that the Warrior uses maces and that means that the slam gems will be available. I have played slam builds many times in the past to know what it is like to play a slam build so that will be familiar. Also Sorceress because I have played a lot of caster builds as well. So both will be familiar enough that I will be able to use them to help me learn the game without worrying about learning how to use skills that I am not familiar with at all.

D3 was my first one, and i also never played poe1. Everytime I thought I might wanna get into it I felt like there would just be way too much content to catch up on. But now playing poe2 from the start will give me a good chance to get a feel for how the game is right on launch before tons more things get added.

I played today. Once GGG fixed their server issues after an hour and a half I was able to connect and play for a few hours. Honestly wasn’t that bad. Game is super fun.

Ahm... Abilities in PoE are not tied to your class and only require you to have enough stats to equip them. You can use Bind Specter on Ranger, Warrior, Monk or whatever class. Please be careful with wording :p

@@ithrowtantrums4486 what are you talking about? This is not a POE2 release, this is early access and "Alpha" phase of the game. The game release is like 6 months down the road. Early access gives the fans a taste and helps the devs fix any problem/bugs and yes even server issues before launch of the game.
