Im playing artillery ballista. When I put crit chance to attacks I have to take out/in the gem to show the new values. Maybe is some bug. I hope they fix it.

@@WL-vb4fn Not true same bug on my Cold Sorc the skill does nothing. So just assumed it was bugged still and not doing anything I guess I'll try reloggin and take it again. I assume it's for all outside sources of skills from passive tree or corruption on skill gems. The +1 skill doesn't register until relog hopefully.

Not much I'd start with the +100 sprit chest you can wear at level 1 and just pick up any scepter. Frost mage leveling is extremely comfy cause of the freeze and flamewall raging spirits. So mages casting through them do extra damage. Get 1-2 storm mages for the shock it's a breeze every boss perma frozen till death which is 1-5 secs in campaign. Also there are unique boots with reduce spirit reservation but they don't have movement on them but are low lvl.

Hi, i am using in them the passive that increases crit chance by 50% when hitting a frozen target, i do not have all the resources to reach high crit chance with jewels just yet and i feel like using this gem notably increase clear speed on maps, probably accelerating crit chance power spike early on. You think that using that gem could get you more freedom to experiment with other jewels?

@@ericfrias3754 frostmage freeze target most of the time, so i think thats fine, if that jewel is lot cheaper then go for that, the downside is that crit is conditional, but practically speaking, if everything is frozen and they die before the freeze end, then that jewel do the job.

@@WL-vb4fnyeah but that’s very clunky and lags cause either the despawn or respawn to not happen quick enough. Then by the time you figure it out you’re either dead or you’re now standing at another doorway and need to repeat the process. I live minions but even I’m growing tired of the tedium. I have a 93 witch and an 83 witch. GGG needs to highly prioritize minion AI. I know it’s still EA but why the heck did they design all these maps with narrow hallways and doors?!? They could have easily just widened everything. I lost my fourth ascendancy on which #2 on the fourth floor after losing 8k/12k honor due to their stupid stairs and zone design. Snipers would just jam up everywhere and not even shoot up to the platform. I had max honor resist too. Anyways…. /rant off.

I feel like frost mages do really well with boss damage overall but not as much with clear unless you get to very high-tier gear. Due to that, I have kinda stuck with snipers as I am not at the high-teir gear yet

@@WL-vb4fn Yeah, it's hard to beat sniper clear due to both the insane range of their attacks, great support gems, and the ability to blow up rares with their special. I am still a bit undecided if I should run all sniper (aside from the cleric and storm mage support) or run mostly sniper with a few reavers for more boss damage.

Isn't frost bomb always just gonna be better though for higher cold exposure? I get the efficiency of EoW and less buttons to press though. However only using it for bosses so I just hit frost bomb first with spell echo since it's a delay before the boss fight starts then my rotation.

why some ppl use on boss gem +40% area dmg? and when u look ice shard there is "projectile" tab and "explosion" what and when doing/dmg explosion i dont understand..and when u put area dmg gem the explosion got boost dmg..but not the projectile can u explain please

@bibaboo4251 so that gem called concrentrated effect. So frostmage shoot ice shard, this shard is projectile, when it hit an enemy it explode, so that ice shard hit twice, thats why you have projectile tab and explosion tab. The reason why that gem only increased explosion damage is because that gem give 40% more area damage, area is the keyword. Explosion is an area, projectile is not, so thats why it only increase explosion damage but not projectile.

Very good video! Do your minions sometimes die in a map? This can be very dangerous and normally ends with the death of the player too. But as ascendary class I prefer the Titan! 50 % stronger small passive skills is great!

@csac1979 not really, at least not to the extent where all my minion get wiped, so defensively i feel very safe (plus frost mage freeze most monster). I havent tried titan but i heard a lot of good stuff there,, they also able to generate rage if im not mistaken, so great for reaver

@@WL-vb4fn You just make a calculation: Summing all small passive notes you have now. But remember, the first 10 points are different as the starting of Titan and Witch are different. You will see the difference of numbers of your small passives with the + 50 % bonus!

Hey buddy, it’s part of the infernalist ascension nodes. You sacrifice 25% hp and gain spirit and then another 25% for energy shield.
