I dare say you may be a bit of a baby if this one minor side quest makes you quit the entire game. Yes it's a shit quest with no explanation, but be a tad less dramatic.

Yes this another hidden wall that I found. After found currency wall and get there by minecart.

Unless it's a wall to another zone, no, the cart cannot get there. If it had linked to the currency chamber he hovered over briefly (which has been proven you don't have to run back along the string of lights to read, it's always right from the check point) it would have opened the pathway for the cart to take later.
