I know it is kind of late now, but it seems that GGG has adjusted the rarity of the Soulwrest Staff (along with me recommending the build), causing its price to inflate really high. I am sorry for the inconvenience if you have rolled this build, however there are many summoner builds you could still morph the build into instead or while you save for a Soulwrest. I merged Agony crawler duelist with Thicc jugg and i'm quite pleased with the result. The only thing that ran me over was a prophecy unique artisans box that had 3 unique bosses with RF. Leveled with herald of purity, herald of fire and shield charge. Faceroll build tbh. lev 83 and did not buy any item just to emulate league start but it will be much easier today since items can be bought. Very nice videos EE. Pedagogical as hell!

Just want to say thanks for the decay build. Playing it in hardcore and it's going well (well after dying 3 times) Managed to go ci at 69 and got double curse by 80, 81 now. Only 6.8k es but using a ev+es chest is gonna do that. I leveled to 38 with ed/contagion but its damage dies off massively near the end of act 3. Ele Blade Vortex is probably faster. Suggestion for anyone trying this build, aim for Daresso's Passion (140 dex) or The Dark Seer, and a 250+ es shield. This will get you to CI early, also allowing you to shield charge and you can then grind to upgrade gear before eventually getting The Grey Spire. Oh and you can save a point by taking the right hand part of the Corruption wheel (the damage difference is nothing now)

some of the chaos damage items you can get with delve crafting, or the awesome chaos wands/staves you can get from incursion temple could really help out the profane bloom occultist. it could work out really well

Haven't decided yet though :) Although the Thicc one is cool too, and so tanky. Lets just face tank some of the bosses, and hope you dont get beat down by that one boss who will one shot you. Which happend twice with my HC character.... Bummer :)

I played this build, I died yesterday at around lvl 65, I'm not sure what killed me but I th8nk you might be safer if you stick to a shield and pick hp and res nodes before dw and switch to dw much later until when you are farming maps and stuff

Was using Enki's Arc Witch last league after failing to create my own builds. Well documented, easy to follow for beginners, and very capable (though I got lucky in SSF with Inpulsa dropping and managing to 6-link it).

@@AGVenge It is quite squishy IMHO and you need to move a lot. I wouldn't recommend for HC. You mitigate a bit with some life leech against packs, and use of flasks. I was struggling with resistances, since a lot of them come from gear, and in SSF you can't just buy what you need. Staying mobile is key. I was at 5k health/1k shield, but I still needed move a lot to stay away from damage. I died way too often to traps because in eternal lab because I got stuck in terrain/traps, but that's largely my stupidity.

@@mehmetakyuz5290 I was doing quite all right. Make sure you use the Orb of Storms for the buff, and to use your Decoy Totem a lot. If you time the deploy of the decoy right, the boss will focus on it right away and ignores it. Re-cast as required. Also, keep moving. Stay away from AOE attacks (usually heavily telegraphed), beams, etc. Shield charge/flame dash are useful for that. But yes, Enki is better for clearing packs than bosses.

It's like you're reading my mind :D EDIT: Question About the Blade Vortex. Since it's purpose isn't to deal damage, but rather apply the chaos stuff, should I bother leveling it up? The talent tree seems pretty dex starved.

This is a fantastic video and I decided to play the Profane Decay Occultist as my first character (Never played PoE before). Its been super fun so far! My only trouble is deciphering the lingo and figuring out how best to get the gear I need to have the right sockets and keep my resist up. One silly question, because we are using BV to apply decay, after we switch from the normal BV doing damage to the decay and cursees, is there any reason to upgrade the BV gem? All it seems to do is increase the dex requirement on my gear and that can be tricky to keep balanced as well =) Thanks!

The Dancing Dervish weapon swap will trigger the Manifest of your weapon if you kill to much enemys which make that you lose your weapon evan if you swap your weapon but you can use the axe Sinvicta's Mettle which work the same without this downside .

Leveling the profane decay occultist. Enjoy it for the most part. Not actually to the point of having decay going on yet. Having to get through the end of act 4 before the build comes into its own is kind of a bummer. Could also be I'm just not good at the playstyle. I feel pretty squishy.

HI, still have not decided on what jugg to play, just wanted to ask is oini-goroshi a viable choice for lvling because its rly easy to get, well if you have the time for it. Thank you for all of your gr8 content you made my playing experience 10 times better. Just would love to see a selling guide what is good on what item types, and what is sought after in a league. You all ready have the item basics covering 70% of that, so thank you for that!

I played an oni-goroshi frost blades assassin in bestiary, starting from farming it up with 3 scions to then leveling with it from level 1 to 90 on my assassin. I would say it's a better leveling item even than a tabula - it was some of the smoothest leveling I've had on a character, but then again I was hellbent on making it work anyways. You're set for damage, both a leveling and an endgame weapon and a 6L in one item. I didn't use any items that had fire damage on them, nor did I get any fire damage from the passive tree during the lower levels and that didn't activate her embrace so I didn't have a problem with degen before I felt like I was finally a high enough level and properly geared to handle it. I had some survivability issue after I started red tier maps, but that was because of my class and ascendancy.I think that going with a jugg with lots of endurance charges, regen and leech, armor and phys mitigation is going to be more than enough to sustain her embrace and still feel really tanky. :P

Well, there are certainly a few problems with some of those builds - as you pointed out, the loss of stat sticks. With Soulwrest there is the issue of figuring out how difficult it will be to get the six socket recipe. For no life basement dwellers that probably won't be a problem. For the rest of us... a very big problem that will determine what we decide to play two months into the league, much less to start the league.
