@@DanielAttaway I have tried getting into the Stormlight Archive books a few times, but there is so much combat in the beginning of the first book and for some reason that puts me off. It may have been because I listened to them as audiobooks rather than reading though. Combat often doesn't translate that well for me in audiobook format for some reason. It is unfortunate as I have only heard good things about them. As I type this I think I am gonna give them an extra try tonight or tomorrow =)

Theres nothing wrong with that EQ build but i recomend trying a friends build his name is imthewinningest aka zambash and he uses marohi mace wich is more accesable then disfavour since the axe is9 or 10 ex and u rly need the ex or some other stuff like the enchant to make it work he has a guide up on youtube and can ask him anything if u decide to do send him my regards ;)

Hmm with the buffs to melee I might try doing a build that I had a lot of sucess with a while back. Its essentially Using wild strike, cast on critical strike, Blade vortex, storm call, cold snap and fire storm, basically used Scion with the Assassin and Inquisitor ascendancies and maxed out my elemental damage and crit chance, ended up clearing the whole screen with one click, only problem with wild strike is that it requires a target to work meaning its range is very limited, might use lightning strike instead unless I can make it durable enough to go melee. Either way it was pretty strong even before the melee buffs, cant imagine it now.

Suggestion. Have been running chieftan BV. Over 1500 leech and close to 800 regen. Not to mention 1m damage with no offensive flasks and 150% duration for maximum blades at all times.

Made an SRS Necro but used a 6L Essence of Insanity staff, Mark of the Shaper, Essence of Fear Elder ring and Corrupted Sidhebreath with +17% Hatred effect. It’s crazy with clearing especially with Hypnotic Eye jewels that give Phys Damage to spells.

I tried out the SRS build and it's quite fun and viable. Not blazing fast but solid.

Oh and another plus for this spec is that almost the entire skill tree and gear can be used for a Spectres spec if you feel like moving between the two. A few regret and a few pieces of gear and your swap is done.

Honestly, with all the additional power that has been added to the game in the recent year, Izaro himself isn't that dangerous anymore and you no longer need to focus on having a dedicated single target skill, not unless the other skill you use is totally useless in terms of single target potential. Cyclone, blade flurry, double strike, warchief totem, perforate, lacerate and frenzy should all be relatively safe bets for alternatives =)

I haven't been browsing the official forums and looking around there, and from my knowledge, there isn't really a easy way to find out what skills people use to safely farm uber labs etc. I'll definitely give some of these skills a whirl. Is Jugg still the go-to I'm assuming? Or has the ascendancy reworks made some difference in that regard?

@@Popmycherryyo True it often requires a bit of background knowledge of how the skill works in practicality. Another aspect is, of course, the way it synergizes with the type of build. Lacerate for instance has the potential to be really great for uber labbing, but also terrible if it isn't designed around single target damage. Jugg is still a very good choice yes, so is the champion, chieftain, slayer, gladiator, and trickster. It can obviously be done by the other ascendancies too, but again generally speaking those are solid choices.

idk... the only build that really seems Legion viable looks to be ice spear totem. from these presented. the aim this league is to clear full legion armies, at least in maps. Anything that is a piercing projectile sounds promising, or built-in chain. Soulrend, frostbolt, frostbolt-ice nova, Lightning arrow, scourge arrow ( ? ), Arc ( ? ), Tornado. Anything in this vein ?

Next weeks builds will be focused on fast builds that work great with the Legion mechanic. That said both Earthquake and SRS if built for it can definitely keep up with the Legion mechanic =)
