I personally really like the voice lines! Everyone has their right to their own opinion but since I like them I will probably stick to them. Maybe I'll release a version without vocals as well in the future. We'll see :) Glad you liked it!

What I really like about this one is the lore background with the voice lines and how it works well to tell a story. Dominus one is also neat but there I feel its a bit of a random mishmash (the man simply doesn't have nuff lines for it to work as well as here) Also yeh, this one together with dominus, belly and main theme is cycling quite a bit on my playlist recently :D

Shaper also has a tentacle beard. 3.) I'm pretty sure the image is portraying Shaper, well, shaping worlds. Elder only takes and consumes.

Shaper and elder are such interesting characters, an old man being controlled by a being from the void, creating his own world, shaping it as he saw fit, while the elder watched

He became controlled by the Elder only after the player fought and won against him. Before that the Shaper was actively trying to stop the Elder, even though he was slowly losing. Funnily enough he was taught how to shape by the elder when the elder was still impaled by the starforge and he is in part responsible for it's release...

aTension I've been working on a track since the contest started and it's now almost ready, I just need some more voices for the final touches as currently the only download I could find was Malachai but I don't really wanna use him since he's old news and his voice is very low which interferes with my mix. I've emailed GGG 3 weeks ago and a couple more times since then but the best I've got is a 'let me forward this to the next person'. I'm getting really worried that I'll have to submit an unfinished track as there's only 8 days left until submissions close, so is there any chance you could do me a huge solid and upload the pack they gave you?

The drum transitions from voice line at 0:42 and 2:58 sound really awkward, I guess its because its 1 beat of silence and 3 beats of drums. YOu could probably remove that last beat and just make it 2 silence 2 drums (this is assuming thats 1 4/4 measure of course) other than that it's awesome, well done, love it. (maybe i'll change my mind on this after sleeping i've been up for 30 hours lol)

The thing is, ingame mechanically Shaper is much more difficult than Elder. But if we get the lore into it, Shaper could probably push back the Elder, but he cannot permanently defeat it, this turns it into a stalemate.
