PATH of EXILE: How to Easily Craft a CI Trickster Body Armor - For Unleash Arc & Other Builds!

Crafting in Path of Exile is in such a fun and approachable state - here's how to do an awesome crafting project to make a great Evasion / Energy Shield chest for CI Trickster builds - like my Unleash Arc Trickster! This thing helps you get immune to all elemental ailments and stun with the right combo of items and it's potentially only a few divines to craft - with plenty of profit potential (unless you all make a ton of them I suppose heh).
STEP 1 - BASE
ilvl 86 Sadist Garb (or 84 is only slightly worse)
OR
ilvl 84 T2 flat or t3 % fractured evasion energy shield.
NOTE: Can use a slightly worse base to save a lot on a budget.
OPTIONAL: Overquality (Perfect fossil or Betrayal Hillock)
STEP 2 - Dense Fossil Craft
Fractured T2 Flat EV/ES to hit alongside T2 % EV/ES
= 9 dense fossil (80c)
Fractured T3 % EV/ES to Hit Alongside T2 Flat ES/EV
= 5 dense fossil (40c)
T2s without fracture
= 51 dense fossil (720c)
T3s without fracture
= 17 dense fossil (160c)
STEP 3 - Metamod & Veiled Chaos
If full prefix and/or suffix consider selling if amazing extra mods OR use eldritch ichors/embers and eldritch annuls to remove enough mods to proceed (or brick)
If open prefix & suffix
= prefixes cannot be changed + veiled chaos
unveil hoping for prefix avoid stun/ele
Success? Go on to step 4!
If failed, evaluate for sale, and:
- repeat step 3 (save with eldritch currency) or Step 2 (craft again with fossils).
If land something else on veil or suffix
Evaluation for sale or:
- if open prefix suffix still = prefixes cannot be changed and veiled again.
STEP 3.5 - Eldritch Suffix Improvements
If all prefixes are filled and good we can make eater dominant with an eldritch ichor and then eldritch annul or chaos to improve the suffixes as much as we want
STEP 4 - Finish Up
- Benchraft Suffix if desired
- Eldritch desired implicits
- Socket & Link
- Use sacred orb if base ES/EV is low
- Done!

One thing I forgot to mention about base: if the EV/ES base roll is low consider using a sacred orb if you hit a big craft to finish off.

Hey Ziggy! I've followed you during your crafts and here are some minor nit pics on overall great guide: 1. Never use eldrich chaos - they are more expensive than eldrich exalts/annuls and results are more predictable. 2. Use eldrich exalts instead of regular ones - they are cheaper. 3. Int/Dex blocking is good as long as you remember to remove this bench craft BEFORE using eldrich annuls, so u spend 1 scour instead of 30 chaos :)

Good suggestions! The combo of eldritch annul + exalt is about the same as the chaos but your right about use eldritch exalts in general when they are cheaper!

My strategy for a CI trickster has been to start with fractured spell suppress and then dense fossil spam until good defenses, then fish for good suffixes past the spell suppress with eldritch currency. Thanks for the video! EDIT: also usually dense fossils are cheaper lol

I tried this a couple of days ago for my trickster, dense fossils are pretty expensive, bought 30 and didn't get a single roll over 1300 evasion I usually love crafting in every game i play, but PoE doesn't let me craft anything

Do you have a guide on how to use the Guardian's Blessing Spectres? They die so fast so the uptime is really low. IS there a specific spectre combo or something I'm missing?

I do have a video on them. Dark Marionettes is what you want. Spectre level, quality and meat shield support can help. But on the end it's never going to have 100%, but it does have instant cast time so you can press it whenever you want a damage boost.

@@ZiggyDGaming If you're going to use wrath as your guardian blessing aura, why not just run the spectre that gives a massive wrath aura with meat shield and elemental army? Should hold quite a bit unless doing uber end game content I think.

On trickster each 6 evasion on the chest grants 1 extra energy shield in addition to being it's own good defensive layer.

Run a cowards trial unique map to unlock it, and an extra atlass passive too. It's a pretty easy map but you can always get someone to invite you along for a carry too.

To me crafting is to complex in number of combinations. The bench should be able to craft 3 prefix and 3 sufix up to Tear 3 in the same way you can craft 6 socket/link with the bench.

You may want to look into Last Epoch, coming out in about a month, and most PoE content creators will be doing sponsored livestreams, probably. It has a relatively deterministic crafting system. But yeah, I totally agree, I also hate the excessive complexity of PoE crafting that requires like 2 PhDs for a single piece of gear.

Im not impressed, but also Ive had a bad day and im abit cranky. Seems the rest of your defenses is good judging from the sirus fight since it went smooth

@@MrTnbopp123 while some really good builds do stack energy shield modern path of exile doesn't care as much about raw es / life values as it did in the past. Spell suppression, Phys taken as chaos/ele, staggered damage and some extremely potent recovery mechanics for example can all result in very tanky character that don't have much more life/es than the "lel nice 4k hp builds" of 5 years ago. All that to say: this character is actually crazy tanky with some of the best recovery ive seen in a build (endless leech, suppression activated endless es recharge, 120%.of ele damage taken recouped, AND ghost dance with evasion cap, suppression cap and 4 end charges and 40% Phys conversion.) All of this is beside the point as it has no real bearing on the item craft. if T2/T2 ev/es gear is not good enough then you are welcome to go for T1/T1 instead using the exact same method to get more ES, it just costs more for a higher roll fracture base.on ilvl 86 and more total fossils to hit T1 alongside it on average. Let me.know if there's anything else you're having trouble with.

@@ZiggyDGaming I agree that the amount of es/life isnt what it used to be, we got more tools now to mitigate damage. I remeber when I started playing 10 years ago stacking life was basically the only realistic option available. Even so, its still the base defence, once you have made efforts to reduce all the kinds of diffrent damage types in the game your life/es is sort of the multiplier to all that mechanics. Alot has changed the last 5 years though for sure, im still running around with 2 lifeflasks on every character. HC and SC

The noob argument that annoys me the most is when someone says ''Yeah, but I only want the good gear piece'' as a counterargument to me telling them to just sell if they hit something good, it's not only a bad counter argument it makes no logical sense since everyone wants the good gear so why do they just want to eat losses I can't understand it, I'm a crafter myself but I spend most of the time mapping, not because of profit but mapping is more fun.
